Amazing property. Very spacious room. Bathroom was very clean. Great restaurant with very good food. Also an amazing view from the outside. But the highlight are definitely the owners and staff. They are the sweetest people on Iceland. We cannot thank them enough. We would come back to Iceland just to meet them again. This hotel is a must!

Very well appointed cabin that is quite isolated for beautiful night time sky viewing! Excellent hot pot, bbq. Sitting area. All very new and comfortable. Even though it is remote, it's still close enough to Húsavík and Akureryi for day trips. Excellent place for nature.. I took the picture in my review lying in the bed! Excellent floor to ceiling windows. I would ask for cabin #1 so you aren't looking out over the other cabins.

Very clean. Did not do the breakfast but it looked good. The lounge was actually nice and provided coffee and tea. Would have eaten there if we stayed another day.

The breakfast was good. I didn't eat at the restaurant for dinner because the food looked pricey (like much in Iceland). Otherwise it was great. At first I thought it would have been nice to stay closer to Myvatn, but this place looked better than anything I saw there. It's also a bit closer to Husavik if you're going whale watching, and to Godafoss, so the location turned out to be better than I initially thought.

We had a very pleasant stay at Guesthouse Hvítafell. The room was nice, with a comfortable bed that made for a good night’s sleep. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare our meals, which was very convenient. Although we didn’t use it, there’s a hot tub available for guests - a lovely option after a day of exploring. The location is excellent, just a short drive to Geosea, which was a must-visit for us and a real highlight of the area. Overall, a welcoming and practical place to stay while visiting this part of Iceland.

This was such a clean, well-stocked, and cozy spot to rest and recover from our adventure days. The location was wonderful and it was well worth the rate we paid. The bed was comfortable. And the view! Unbelievable, stunning, dreamy.
