I can only recommend it, the room is very spacious and clean, breakfast is quite ok for both: for Italians looking for sweets and for foreigners looking for something salty in the morning. However the very big plus is that il vecchio frantoio is very family oriented if you have a young kid like us. There is a playground for kids, a swimming pool, you can enter to see/touch animals like chicken, goats and sheep. Then out in the fences: ostriches, geese, peacocks, quails. On top there is a small square free from cars, where a kid can run his bicycle, scooter. I have to thank you the administration that has let use bicycle/scooter for free.

Lovely place ´ we had the the first floor ´ has got a nice view on the sea. Area with villa around pleasant Thought Augusta and brucoli have no real interest staying in the place and move then to visit touristic places is feasible

There was something unpleasant about the town, although we were staying in a nice little apartment with helpful owners. One restaurant refused point blank to show me a menu, another seemed to be conducting a fight with American servicemen outside. Nothing to see, quite fiddly to get in and out of

A quiet town with good services, strategically located on the eastern side of the island. It's pleasant to stroll through the historic center, although the precarious state of the salt pans, which could be the real asset, is a shame.

Very easy to access by motorway, a small seaside town with its market on Tuesday mornings. Finding a parking space is a bit of a challenge, but it was worth it. There were food trucks, which was nice.

The sea is a wonderful thing, Brucoli is truly exceptional, the climate certainly helps, the superlative food is unrivaled... go to Lentini for bread (you'll understand why! Too good)... Not far from the larger towns like Augusta, Catania, etc. Sea and culture, the right mix for a super holiday!! Ps. The abbey is also beautiful.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Villa Seba in Augusta. The villa is gorgeous, super comfortable, and the pool area is perfect for relaxing. Inga and Sebastiano (Seba) were incredible hosts-friendly, welcoming, and went out of their way to make us feel at home. They gave great local tips and made our stay extra special. Bonus: their dog Oliver is the sweetest Highly recommend this place if you want a relaxing, unforgettable getaway.

Tucked away off the Main Street in Augusta, this is an excellent choice of property for a couple. A lovely sitting room, largish galley style kitchen and a nice bedroom with en-suite well equipped shower room/toilet. The hosts very kindly left milk, water and butter in the fridge and toasts and jams for breakfast. A great find which is close to everything in Augusta old town.

Fantastic view from the terrace overlooking the nicer side of Augusta harbor (the west side is a bit depressing—check the map to see why). Friendly host. Great location with nice restaurants and cafés nearby.
