The chalet is a haven amidst the mountains. The sauna was just the thing we needed after a long hike. The owner is very friendly. We also got to meet the donkeys that live on the farm!

Important: The road is OK. It is a dirt road, but without a problem even for city cars. Google/waze tends to guide you through extreme country roads. You must come from the main road SP9 between Collesano and Campofelice di Roccella and turn at 37.9331125N, 13.9137444E. Great "feeling" of the country side accomodation. Mateo is very kind, but it feels weird having an 80year old man "serve" you. Collesano offers some amazing spots for dining, coffee etc. Mateo fetched us dinner even with our late arival (8:30 pm). It was simple, but tasty 4 course meal for cca 30E/pp. I believe food would be even better, if the chef was there. There is the best dog - Kiss.

Situated 17 km from La Rocca, Gratteri Resort offers 4-star accommodation in Gratteri and has a garden, a restaurant and a bar.

This is an excellent hotel. We had a really nice room with a balcony overlooking the town, the staff were very attentive and friendly and the dinner we had was delicious and very good value.

Host was always available and very helpful. Property was very clean, secure and everything we needed. Kitchen and braai facility well equipped. Pool and garden absolutely stunning. The little cat in the garden was a delightful bonus.

The hosts were kind and welcoming. The apartment has been fully renovated; it is clean, cozy, and has everything you need. Highly recommended!
