Hotel Magnolia has a restaurant, bar, a shared lounge and garden in Comacchio. Boasting room service, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. The friendly staff are always willing to help, and all try to speak English (which I never expect). If you choose to eat here, the food is lovely and always fresh. The rooms are modern, bright and spacious with good air conditioning. The swimming pool is perfect, clean and quiet when we were there in August; sunbeds were always available. Even though I was travelling as a couple, this would be ideal for families or single travellers. We couldn't fault the hotel or staff and will definitely return in the future.
Featuring a garden, B&B Dal Marinaio provides accommodation in Comacchio with free WiFi and garden views. With city views, this accommodation features a patio. The BB was directly in the center of town, easy to find and next to the famous treponte bridge. We loved the spaciousness and cleanliness of the new rooms, the shower was fantastic, the wifi was great and the pillows... oh the pillows! Amazing! The breakfast was all home made, even the bread! I would come back here in a heartbeat!
Overlooking the main canal of Comacchio, Al Ponticello offers rooms and apartments with air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. It is ideal for excursions in Delta del Po Regional Park. The owners are super-friendly, they made everything very easy and our stay was memorable. The location is wonderful and the cakes at breakfast delicious.
Situated in Comacchio, La Casa di Santino features accommodation with free WiFi, air conditioning and access to a garden. The rooms were very neat, clean and newly renovated. The staff were so helpful and kind, both when we came later than first decided as well as giving us extra sweets for the road. The breakfast was lovely.
The town is steeped in Italian History and culture with a predominantly Fishing based economy. Comacchio prides itself as one of the preeminent Eel fishing spots in the world, not that I am a particular fan of Eels but I do like them BBQ'd from time to time. There is also a fishing port nearby (Port Garibaldi) and it was fun seeing the boats coming in from a night of fishing and selling their catch.
Lovely place which had a busking festival on when we were there. Restaurants can be a bit pricey but there are cheaper take away options in neighbouring towns. The town itself is cute with lovely bricked bridges and canals.
Well placed by a canal, no traffic noise, within a short walk of shops and restaurants We ate at a restaurant Vasco e Giulia, after picking up a card at the B&B. It was excellent, and one of the few open off-season
Very interesting with the canals and the former grand eel fishing industry and its history. Restaurants are good but dont go there on a Monday as it is hard to find anything open Monday night in October. Very easy to walk whole town as it is small.
Commachio is a charming canal town famous for its eels, and with a good choice of charming restaurants, many on the canals. The town absorbs its tourism, unlike Venice which is swamped by it, and has the charm Venice had before the cut price airlines started flying there. You can walk from one side of the town to the other in 20 minutes or so; prices in bars etc are about half those of Rome.
Seafood. Comacchio is worth visiting firstly for this reason. If you plan visiting the city with toddlers, be advised that in the old city channels and bridges don't have any fence. You'll have to watch your children twice as attentively as usual.

Wonderful hotel in a historical building stylish renovated. Elevator available. Great room with great romantic design. Very friendly and helpful staff. Be sure to try the food suggestions of the hotels restaurant served on board of an old boat moored in the canal in front of the hotel. Just as an advice if you arriving by car parking might be an issue considering hotel situated in historical center and pedestrian area. Recommending to call reception on approaching village as we did and they will guide you better then navigation.

Al Ponticello and Comacchio are real little gems! Our room was large, airy, spotless and comfortable. Our welcome couldn't have been warmer, Riccardo's mother also recommended an excellent restaurant for dinner and Romina, overseeing the delicious breakfast, gave us invaluable tips for a boat trip to see the flamingos and the eel-fishng wetlands. A great find!

Perfectly located in the lovely, picturesque centre of Comacchio, this property is perfect to enjoy all the area can offer. The owners are perfect guests, available to answer all questions and needs you may have. We’ve been going in this area frequently for personal reasons, and this is by far the best place we’ve been!

The hotel’s location, canalside and a few steps from bars and restaurants makes it an ideal short stay destination. The whole experience from check-in to departure was a joy. Spacious, comfy room and a generous breakfast made it great value. The parking while not on site is free and nearby.

Very friendly, quiet and clean place in the middle of Comacchio. We had two rooms in the main house where the owner lives. Every morning a great bereakfast is served in a separat room with view to the channel directly in front of the house. B&B La Pitagora is to recommend!
