Our original choice of hotel decided to cancel our booking so this was the alternative. To be honest we weren't expecting very much but the hotel was really good. The room was large with a European style king size bed; there was a safe; the bathroom was efficient and, unusually for most hotels, an outside window. Breakfast was great. The view of the lake an unexpected bonus. And to top it, the price was very reasonable. It was too early in the year to use the pool but it looks beautiful.

The yellow room and the property are amazing.All the furniture and the decoration are very beautiful.It was so nice of the owners to leave biscuits,chips, champagne,cold tea and water for free in the room.Salvatore was also very kind to suggest us to have dinner at Baglio Balata where we had typical Sicilian food.All this made our stay in Enna exceptional and far outweighed our expectations.We will definitely recommend the property to our friends and we do hope to come back. Salvatore and Claudia are doing great job Thanks a million for being your guests!!!

Excellent host - Valeria was so kind and helpful. We arrived in a storm and she assisted our arrival to the apartment. The apartment was spotless and our beds were made the next day! Lovely to have an extra shared sitting room. Very good heating ( radiators and air heater) that was needed on that stormy night. Great location. Luigi kindly recommended local restaurants.

Fabrizio is the most excellent host I've ever seen，running a B&B is very professional. The apartment is located in the heart of the city and all the attractions are within walking distance. The apartment was clean and tidy with comfortable bedding. The breakfast was amazing! The persimmons on Fabrizio's own tree are very tasty.

Enna has been called the "navel" of Sicily due to its...

Enna has been called the "navel" of Sicily due to its central location, and proximity to ancient sites, churches, Mount Etna, Ortigia and more. There are many beautiful and historic sites to walk around and through such as the Duomo di Enna, Castello di Lombardia, Rocca di Cerera, and of course the narrow streets off the main road. And a must to see is the Villa Roman del Casale with its stunning mosaics.

Enna is a nice town, but not the top location in Sicily that...

Enna is a nice town, but not the top location in Sicily that I had expected. A visit to the restaurant Tommy's Wine (don’t be misled by the name or the appearance of the establishment) is a true experience in Enna and definitely worth it

I went in October and it was quiet with not a whole to do...

I went in October and it was quiet with not a whole to do here. The restaurant I dined at was pleasant and food was good, the staff were really nice and local people were friendly. The town didn't suit me, especially in a place like Sicily where there are so many beautiful places to visit. Enna looks stunning from the highway perched high on a plateau and the streets are nice to walk. But it's not worth a night in my opinion.

From Lombardia's castle has panoramic view, Etna, Callascibetta, valley, Bassa Enna, old town. There is a supermarket near castle. Velvendere square is 10minutes from bus stop and 20min from bus station. At Vittorio Emanuele Square There is a restaurant Sciabbè with amazing view to valley and Calascibetta, its entrance is located in a narrow alley next to the sanctuary of the temple, that is opened from noon.

Enna is a beautiful and historic city, in a spectacular hilltop location with stunning views. We found it a very friendly town, with very few tourists in March. It can be very cold even then, when windy, so pack warm clothes. There are many lovely old buildings in the town, and it is a short drive to other places such as the fabulous Roman villa of Villa Romani Casale.

We just stayed 1 night, but it was probably the best room that we had in during our 3 week trip around Sicily. Huge and comfortable, with great shower and superb bed. Breakfast good. staff friendly and spoke good English. The restaurant was open in the evening although only 6 people eating! It’s an ideal stopover hotel, as there’s not much to see in the area, and everything for tourists was already closed for the Winter.

The hosts were terrific, helpful and a lovely family. They let us store our bags really early, as was on an early train, which was appreciated. The location is fantastic. Close to restaurants, bars and shops and walking distance to many cultural attractions. After a month in Sicily, Enna was one of my favourite places. The people were very friendly and unjaded like some other heavy tourist places.

Beautiful location. Room was well appointed and spacious. Shower was great! Proprietors were very welcoming and hospitable. Breakfast was good. The property itself is a historic building in the centre of this ancient town. Enna itself is a great location for exploring all of Sicily and, at 1,000 metres above sea level, affords some spectacular views..
