The hôtel is 15 mnts drive away from Fumicino Airport. You will be surprised how convenient and beautiful Ostia area is. The hotel is steps from the beach , from fancy and reasonable priced restaurants and coffee shops. Don't forget to checkout the outdoor market near the hotel where you find amazing deals for fashion. I highly recommend the hotel. Front desk staff are very friendly, professional and helpful. Amazing stay. Don't miss it

Enjoyed the company of other guests on the balcony despite not being able to talk to the directly not to derange her. Very much in favor of the 17th March yachting competition viewed from the balcony and continuous refurbishments taking place on the beach. The staff showed an exemplary service.
Would definitely come again! Grazie

If you come from the downtown area to catch a flight the next day, you need to know it is really very far away. We first took a bus and sat on it for a long time. The bus didn't stop at the hotel, so we walked almost one hour with our suitcases. If you take a taxi from downtown it would cost you a fortune! This hotel is too far away from downtown.

The reviews I read before booking this were a lie.
The reviews I read before booking this were a lie. This property in no way was a 10. The towels were thin and needed to be replaced. No paper towels of dish towels. We ran out of toilet paper only one roll was provided. The sheets need to be replaced very faded, old and thin. The chairs around the table sunk in, not comfortable at all. Our car got broken into 15 mins after arrival. Met owner out front for keys went back to the car. The window had been smashed on car and everything was stolen! Our suitcases and passports. We lost everything but the clothes on our back!!!! Not a safe area!

Ostia is not Portofino, it's a suburb of Rome that just happens to have a beach! The streets are dirty and overgrown with weeds and walking around is not a pleasure. However, if you have to go there the best cornetti can be found at UBK in Piazza della Stazione Vecchia, the best pizza at Romolo's just around the corner and the best spaghetti alle vongole at Tra il Grano e il Mare just off Via Pietro Rosa. Happy holidays!

The seafront is a mixture of private and public beaches.
The seafront is a mixture of private and public beaches. We found that paying to visit the private beaches more comfortable and cleaner than the public beaches plus the private clubs had restaurants and proper toilets.
There are a few restaurants away from the main square but we tended to stay in the main square. several bars also located in the square, wide selection of food to please everyone.
Area is well luminated and most people said good evening. We never felt threatened.
Three train stations available to take you to Rome which is 40 minutes away. a 72 hour ticket for the train can also be used on the underground and public trams and buses within the area of Rome.
The location of the apartment was super. The sea was within walking distance. Grocery stores and a market was close by. This is the cleanest apartment I have ever booked. The apartment was super well scented and everything necessary for life is there. Lucrezia and Alessandro are very helpful. They have even prepared the guide with the most important information (use of equipment, grocery stores, beaches, etc.). We were very happy with everything. If we come to Italy again, we will definitely be in this apartment.
Paolo and Katia are amazing hosts. The flat has everything you need, even enough kitchen basics to make an entire meal in a pinch, without even buying any food. They had toys for our 9 month old son. They met us to give us the keys, show us around, and came back to see us off when we checked out. It's a short walk to the beach, and you can get anything you need in the neighborhood. Free parking behind the building, and easy driving in the neighborhood, a must if you have a car when visiting Rome.
We booked a Double Room with Balcony and Sea View. Room information is correct but pictures unfortunately not. The hotel is close to the beach and 5 minutes walk from Stella Polare station to Rome, the ticket is 1.60 € one way. It is about a 30-minute train ride to Rome. The man who works at breakfast is kind and professional.
Free water and a small bottle of wine is a nice sign of attention.Free parking is in the yard. WiFi is good speed. The balcony is very small but has a sea view.
Proximity to the ocean. Comfortable beds. Clean. The hosts were very kind and Lucia went out of her way to take us to the bus stop (Lido Centro) at the end of our stay.
This place was great. We were able to walk to downtown in 15 minutes to enjoy numerous places to eat. The proximity to the beach was great and there are both free and pay-for beaches. There is also a pool at the beach within 10 minutes walking.
It is the best place to relax, very comfortable, fresh-smelling bed, in addition to the jacuzzi, you can use the shower, everything just shines with cleanliness. Special thanks to Ms. Oksana. I highly recommend this hotel, everything is thought out down to the smadetai detale. It is a couple of minutes to the beach, you can say that the residence is located on the seashore.
Spacious, modern and nicely designed apartment. Suitable for families. Very well equipped, including handy details, such as umbrellas or mosquito repellents. In a walking distance from the beach and 5 minutes from Ostia center. Svetlana gave us very good tips and recommendations reg places to visit. We highly recommend seeing Ostia Antica.
the view from the front rooms is of the beach and wonderful sunsets. make sure to ask for it! the AC works well and very welcome after a hot day at the beach. the staff is nice and available for questions. the hotel bar upstairs is a roof bar with drinks and views. the bar downstairs is casual for a quick espresso or cafe d’orzo.
This is the perfect beach house. Casual but 30 min to all the excitement of central Rome. The staff is warm and helpful. If you wanted to live in Rome, this would be the place to start. Its real world Rome.
Its not for everyone. It reflects a different time, i feel happy as i walk up the steps.
Lido di Ostia 1933 is located in an early twentieth century building, part of the architectural heritage of Ostia Lido, with a typical inner courtyard and a nice stairwell, the rooms have a modern touch, the host is super responsive and friendly, close to the beach

The property staff, location and facilities were excellent. A lovely breakfast is included and the hotel is right across from the beach. We had a balcony with a perfect view of the sea and slept very well on extremely comfortable beds. We loved our stay at hotel Ping Pong!
The location was perfect for us. Not far from the free beach or MetroMare. It was easy to access with a small child in tow. The grocery store was also nearby. Getting to the main shopping street and the city centre of Ostia were also within an EASY walking distance.
Big and comfortable apartment. Nicely decorated. Good location , walking distance to the the beach.
Great host. Short driving distance to Ostia Antica Archeological site. Big market near by and and many restaurants around.
We finished our trip here. We were able to drive to Rome for the day and enjoy the beach later in the evening. Perfect. Restaurants were great, we ate at a popular area a few blocks away
Very close to the beach, 24/7 staffed reception, very helpful staff, good connection to Rome and airport, safety deposit boxes, enough space, cleaned frequently, felt safe, great price
The hotel was spotlessly clean, our towels were changed daily. The bed was comfortable and the shower in the bathroom was super! The proxmity to the beach was also fantastic!
The location of the hotel is excellent on the beach front and is within walking distance from the train station. Breakfast was good and staff were friendly.
