Everything was absolutely great! Staff waited for us and had to be longer at work that we could have a dinner later. They were amazing! Excellent breakfast, one of the best we have had in Italy. Best price/performance ratio! Total score: 11/10

Very nice hotel located on the outskirts of Matera. Very helpful and friendly staff. Secure parking with an EV charging point available.

Really quiet location but cafe shops and little pizza place within 300m. The man with the beard on reception was really helpful. He gave us a map and drew on it how to get round the caves. We had got there early because we are old and he got the people to clean room so we could get in, at no extra charge. Lots of parking as opposed to a place that said they had, then when we booked it they emailed and said the parking was limited. This is a very short drive to the caves where we easily parked. Breakfast was out this world.

The breakfast was fantastic. The rooms are very nice, spacious, nice bathroom, really a great place

Fantastic hotel. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. Convenient parking. We definitely recommend it and hope to visit again.

Location good. modern facilities.

Beautiful rooms, newly renovated, spacious and clean. Beds were extremely comfortable. Staff was polite, helpful and accommodating. Location was perfect, a short walk to the city centre, Palombaro Lungo and Sassi!

The lovely receptionist very helpful .Amazing breakfast .Could park car underneath

Amazing location with a splendid view of Matera. Extremely kind and helpful staff and a unique experience to sleep in a (very modernized) cave.

Excellent service from ALL staff - they were friendly and professional throughout. We had a Hypogeum room ( cave room) which was lots of fun. We loved the roof terrace seating and the amazing views. Our breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice ( and we loved the 'served until 11am' time slot) We had lunch here with friends ( 4 different choices and all delicious) and we enjoyed having late nigh drinks in the bar/terrace with VERY attentive service. The whole experience was excellent!

Primarily the staff around the reception and breakfast, otherworldly room…

The breakfast was very good. I would assume in the summertime there would be an area to have breakfast outdoors.

Beautiful, quiet and peaceful

Amazing building and design! Room was huge with a walk-in wardrobe. Loved staying there. The breakfast was a dream. We received superb service and got more than we expected. The spa is very cozy and feels high quality.

It has been all perfect! The location is strategic to easily reach Matera and also Castel del monte Unesco world heritage site. Special mention for the restaurant : excellent food and staff

Everything was perfect. Five minutes from the train station (where the airport bus also arrives) and only a few minutes from the main square Piazza Vittorio, where you can head off to explore wonderful Matera. The receptionist will give you a map. We were able to check-in early and had a room off the main road which was verry quiet. Comfortable bed. Hotel has a nice little terrace. Not many restaurants close by (some were not open in the evening) but we went to the Trattoria Lucana which we found very good. Breakfast in bar Orchidée, although only a café & croissant, the quality was excellent.

Great central little hotel, literally 3 minutes' walk to Matera's main square. Very friendly and helpful staff, quiet location despite its centrality. Good wifi. Free street parking very tricky to find (but available around the hotel) but we found paid for parking round the corner (1 euro/hour from 8am to 8.30pm but free of charge between 8.30pm and 8am).

We had a wonderful few days in Matera with our family. The property is newly refurbished to a very high standard and felt both elegant and comfortable throughout our stay. The spaces are excellent, and the rooms are spacious and very well designed. The lift was a real bonus and made the stay especially easy and comfortable for the older members of our family. Breakfast was very good, both in quality and variety. The staff truly made the difference: Roberta was fantastic at breakfast, and Paolo and Brunella at reception were welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind.
