We loved everything about about our stay! The owners were very welcoming and kind. Our room and the property was clean, comfortable and beautiful. Parking was very easy. The breakfast was also delicious. The town of Milo was perfect for a trip to Etna, we visited a lovely vineyard and had an amazing meal at a restaurant just 3 minute walk away.

Molto bene!!! I was looking for a tranquil, comfortable yet quality resort on the Sicilian waterfront, away from the bustle of Catania and Taormina but close enough to visit these districts when I wanted … and the Santantonio Resort met all of this, and more! The hotel is modern with some clever design features and with consideration to many details that discerning travellers would expect/demand. The hotel is extremely well presented with quality finishes, decor and refinements throughout. My suite was very comfortable. From the website and photos all of this, I was expecting. However, the hospitality of the staff was exceptional and certainly exceeded my expectations. The owners and the staff were courteous, professional, attentive and friendly, but I never felt that they were ever intrusive. The restaurant fare was excellent no matter whether it was breakfast, lunch or dinner, and attention by the staff, superb. The Chef uses only premium local produce to present dishes of the highest quality, thank you! The pool and relaxation areas were cleverly laid out so that residents can best enjoy the facilities. A special thank you to Hannah for the warm welcome when I first arrived at the hotel (and much later than I was anticipating, sorry!). Special thanks too to Mariella, for looking after me (and my suite) and to Carla, Evelyn, Cinzia and Luca for taking care of me in the bar and restaurant throughout. A big thank you also to Hannah, Mary and Carmella for ensuring everything ran smoothly throughout and to Antonio for showing me around some of the local sights. 

I truly enjoyed my stay at Santantonio Resort and would recommend it to those seeking peace and tranquility in a quality environment. I look forward to my next visit…

It was a perfect stay to say at least. The hotel is beautifully renovated. The staff is amazing - very friendly and helpful. Rooms were cosy and spacious. Pool was like a blue lagoon surrounded by the lemon trees which smelled insanely. Couldn’t recommend this place enough !

The location is amazing, on the skirts of Mt. Etna, and all the facilities, from the pool to the restaurant in the old building are amazing. We were attended to in the friendliest way by the entire staff, including a private traditional Sicilian pasta making lesson; they were all great. Nice and helpful personel and a lovely dog Bianca. View on Etna and the sea is stunning. They have the best white wine we ever tasted made from their own grapes. Dinner and breakfast are good, also their red wine collection is great. Beds were bit hard and pool was chilly, that was the only 'downside'. If you want to explore the Etna, ask Antonio about the tour from Francesco, worth every penny.

Great location for visiting Etna National Park.

Great location for visiting Etna National Park. Short distance from cablecar that takes you up the mountain; we recommend paying for the van ride to go up farther than the cablecar because that portion includes a guide who shows you interesting things about the volcano, including fumaroles and the Valle del Bove lava valley. (We found this activity to be very interesting and enjoyable, although expensive. Do Not Leave Any Valuables in your car in the cablecar parking lot.) The town is very small - one grocery store and only 1 restaurant, but it's a good one: The 4 Arches (Quattro Achi) - very popular, reservations recommended, but only open for dinner Monday to Friday, lunch and dinner Sat and Sunday. The climate is a lot cooler in Milo than on the coast -- a welcome change. The roads are usually narrow and at times extremely steep. Underfoot is all crunchy volcanic rock and ash. We went on a hike to find an ancient oak tree -- the Ilice di Carrinu.

The location was great to visit Mount Etna. There is parking on the street and a elevator to take luggage up to the rooms. It was a basic room, which included what we needed to stay for the two nights. The view would have been great if it wasn't foggy/cloudy. A small balcony is included. The service from the hotel staff was friendly and warm. The view from the shared terrace is spectacular at night.

It was great, +10 for everything. I was searching for such landscapes for a long time. The cantina di vino (it's like a wine cellar) is a superb museum, the vineyard is great, and the wine is delicious. Thank you for everything! Surely we will return.
