I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the owner of this villa, Danilo. The care and attention to the guests were simply wonderful. It was truly a beautiful place to stay. We were looking for a house with history by the lake, and this one exceeded our expectations. The house is remarkably well-preserved, and its rich historical character left a deep impression on us. We especially appreciated the document sharing the history of the villa and recommendations for things to do in the area—it was a thoughtful touch that made our stay even more enjoyable. The garden was simply beautiful and very picturesque, a perfect place to relax and take in the surroundings. Reaching the villa without a car was surprisingly easy. You can easily get here by ferry, which made our arrival very smooth and convenient. We will definitely be back—it’s a place we look forward to returning to!

Andrea is really an amazing host that I can just absolutely recommend! As it was my girlfriend's birthday, Andrea prepared wonderful surprises and a special set up for this occasion. My girlfriend just loved all these attentions so I am really grateful for his involvement. He was also very helpful and fast responding during the stay, whenever we needed something. Aside from that, the apartment is absolutely relaxing, lovely and charming. Decorated with taste and with all the necessary furnitures. The location is ideal, only few meters from beaches.

We had an amazing stay-the accommodation was perfect for us. The location was away from the crowds and the views from every window were incredible! We loved our little balcony for breakfast! The restaurant a few doors down was very reasonable and served delicious food. Most of all our host was outstanding. Max met us from the bus and carried our cases up the stairs to the door. Travelling to the accomodation my shoe had broken and he went out of his way to try to repair it for me on 2 occasions and was so helpful. Then, after leaving, our bus didn't arrive(hadnt realised it was week days only) for Lecco train station so Max dropped what he was doing and immediately drove us there himself! The language issue might have been a problem but communicating via booking.com and using Google translate worked perfectly. Thank you to Max for all his kindness-we had a exceptional 3 days!

My wife and I stayed at Bellavista Valmadrera over Easter for our anniversary, and it was truly a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed by the hosts, who were incredibly kind and attentive throughout our stay. The entire property was spotless—tidy, clean, and clearly well cared for. It’s a peaceful, quiet place that allowed us to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The breakfast was fresh and satisfying each morning, and we really enjoyed the restaurant connected to the hotel—it was a great touch having such quality dining right on site. The free and secure parking was a big plus, and the whole atmosphere made us feel right at home. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our special occasion. Highly recommended.

Lovely place to stay and handy to take the ferry or bus to other places around Lake Como eg. Bellagio/Varenna. A few good options for dinner too and nice place for a swim although the weather wasn’t great when we arrived.
