From the moment our trip went sideways — when Google sent us to the wrong address and we ended up late and stressed — she showed a level of kindness that we will remember forever. She waited for us without hesitation, greeted us with warmth, and apologized for something that wasn’t even her fault. In that moment, after a long day of traveling, her patience and gentle nature meant more than she’ll ever know. And then we walked inside. The space was immaculate, so clean and cared for that it instantly felt like a safe, peaceful place to breathe again. When she showed us the room and the breakfast setup, everything was arranged with such thoughtfulness. It felt like walking into someone’s home — not just a rental. But the view… The view took our breath away. It was the kind of view that makes you stop, fall silent, and just feel grateful to be alive. Waking up to it felt almost unreal — like a memory we’ll carry with us for years. This woman is truly a gem. Her kindness, her warmth, her patience — it all reminded us that there are still people in the world who genuinely care. Our stay wasn’t just comfortable; it touched us in a way we didn’t expect. If you’re thinking about staying here, don’t hesitate. This isn’t just a place to sleep — it’s a place to feel, to breathe, and to be cared for, even for a short moment in time.

The design of the room was beautiful. I loved the ceramic tiles, the antique furniture, curtains, mirrors, arm chairs and good lighting. The terrace was very large, in addition to the tables and lounge chairs downstairs at the pool. Having a fridge was nice. We discovered a great Tavola Calda in the nearby town that had roast chicken, eggplant, red peppers. This food was artesanal and the best food during our 12 day road tour. We enjoyed eating outdoors by the pool. It was nice to be the only guests, as it felt quiet and private. Host sent us a link for the position on GoogleMaps but we were led to the other side of the mountain. But this was not the first time that Google Maps led us astray!

The property owner, Tina, is just fantastic, very friendly and helpful. The unit is brand new and everything was spot on. We were welcomed by Tina and guided to the property. There was a bottle of wine waiting for us. The garden area is fabulous and has a view to die for. I wish we could have stayed longer. Tina was also gracious enough to take us on a guided tour of the church carved into the mountain above us one morning making for a very memorable stay.
