Our host Elena was extremely kind and was always available with tips and advice. Thank you! The apartment is in a newly renovated early 20th century building. The attention to detail with which the whole place was refurbished was impressive. Our aprtment was on the first floor and quiet, windows overlooking the courtyard with the pool. It was our base to travel to Etna cable car station (45min by car). The main train station of Giarrre/Riposto and the Circumetnea train station are both on a 10-15min walking distance.

We had an unforgettable stay at Palazzo Rosso. The atmosphere is peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect place to relax and a great base for day trips to nearby hotspots. The pool area is clean and well-maintained, providing a lovely spot to unwind. Palazzo Rosso also serves excellent food, primarily featuring fish dishes, which you can enjoy in the beautiful garden area. The entire staff is incredibly accommodating and helpful, and the owner, Davide, is always available to assist guests. We loved our time there and highly recommend it. We would definitely return.

In Sicily, we discovered a true paradise – agritourism on a lemon plantation with a stunning view of the majestic Mount Etna. Our mornings began with the scent of lemon trees, and breakfasts delighted us with their variety and freshness. The buffet was especially impressive, featuring delicious homemade pastries and high-quality products. We enjoyed the peace, cleanliness, and coziness of this amazing place. The pool, with its breathtaking view of the mountains and volcano, was a highlight of the farm, though sadly, it was too cold for swimming in winter. The tasting of homemade products, such as jams and fresh fruits, was a special memory. Even in December, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. This is a place you’ll want to return to. We recommend visiting any time of the year to experience the unique charm of life on a large lemon farm. La dolce vita tra i limoni:) P.S. I’d like to apologize to the hosts: I couldn’t resist and picked two oranges straight from the tree without asking. They looked so beautiful that I ate them right there under the tree. These were the most delicious organic oranges I’ve ever had – I hope they’ll forgive me!:)

The town is small and very cute, loved how authentic it is. There is a beautiful church, also stunning views of Etna. People are genuine and very friendly, the food is very nice. In general, it's a very nice place not yet ruined by mass tourism. Also, it is very well located to explore Etna, Taormina, Catania and maybe Syracuse like we did (we traveled by car everywhere).

A small town, quiet and peaceful.

A small town, quiet and peaceful. It was very hot, so we went for walks in the evening. Our apartments were far from the station and the city centre, so it was better to get there by taxi. Friendly and smiling people, the beautiful sea, delicious Sicilian wine and fruit made the holidays wonderful.

Riposto coast is mainly rocky, so for us to find an accessible beach we went to Fondachello Spiaggia di S.Anna. Beautiful little beach with lots of people fishing. For fish loving people, here you’ll find lots and lots fishmongers competing to offer the most freshly caught catch. I would love to come back again.

When we arrived, Riposto celebrated San Pietro (patron of the city), it was interesting , two days of various events, procession, concerts, shows, fireworks.. excellent timing… Our house also had the roof terrase, which we used almost every evening (impossible during the day with the temperatures around 30 degrees, but late evenings were great). The only thing that bothered us was the garbage in the streets, everywhere…

Summary: Highly recommended, it’s a gem! The host During our 1-week stay at Eugenias location, we felt completely comfortable. Communication was excellent from the start – she is extremely warm, helpful, and very dedicated to comfort you as a guest. Not sure about our check-in time – was ok waiting at the place for us with patience. Thank you again! Thank you for the welcoming gifts! Walking through the house, I mentioned the induction hob in the kitchen won’t work with the aluminum coffee brewer I bought in between. To enjoy real coffee in Italy, I bought it a week ago – one of my “have to do’s” going on vacation. Unbelievable and touching: Eugenia texted me the same day, when, the next day, it would be comfortable to drop off an adaptor to brew my coffee. I mean, what can I say? This is unexpected incredible nice and kind! She didn’t need to do that, as all is equipped perfectly. … Another thing I’m very grateful is: giving a lift to the train station at 7.30 in the morning. Cab companies tried to rip us off. This was during or before your working hours. That is the extra mile, Eugenia, thank you again! The house It was absolutely great: spacious, clean, modern, bright, in a maritime topic, stylish and tasteful decorated. Very well-maintained. Everything is new!! I haven’t seen such a dedication on details in any other place apart from home – we truly felt like home. A personal highlight for me was the perfect mattress. Sounds trivial, but think about it. On another level there’s a small area for seating + having a shower. Next level: Chill out area, top terrace. Quiet, sunny, one side towards watching Etna. Find some beach supplies – if forgotten. Again, the details provided for guests are just amazing! Location The location is pretty perfect: Quiet street. Narrow street but parking (enough!) is just 2 min walking away. By the way, I'm not from Malta, I'm from Isle of Man

Riposto is a nice location to stay on the east side of...

Riposto is a nice location to stay on the east side of Silily. You must have a car to get around. It is convenient to visit other village near by. We only sleep in Riposto and spent most time during days in other villages near by. Other than the hotel facility, there isn't much to do around this area.

Everything was as advertised, we really enjoyed it! It was close to everywhere we wanted to visit, 1hr car ride most from each location, but not in the hassle of the centre. Staff was ALWAYS very nice to us and very accomodating. We had dinner there too, and we definitely were not disappointed. Super clean, parking at the premises and great breakfast. We will definitely consider this hotel if we return to the area. Well done! A presto.

Clean, spacious rooms. Good location. Nice view of the see from the room and the balcony. The restaurant is located on the top, giving a great panoramic view from the Etna to the sea. The outdoor pool was clean with a number of deck chairs. The hotel is close to the port also.

The hotel was beautiful. The house keeper was absolutely phenomenal despite not speaking much English, she was so attentive and helpful. The hosts were really receptive and suggested places for dinner and drinks while we were there. The pool was great.

Great location for eastern Sicily if you have a car. Lovely house with great facilities and helpful staff. Great view of Mt Etna from the terrace. Riposto is a nice little town with all the facilities you need.
