the room was perfect for a family with 2 teenagers. great view, nice terrace on the pool; water was a little cold, but I expected that in March :) breakfast was great, dinner served at restaurant too. nice hotel bar ... and other places to eat within walking distance. train station conveniently placed for trips to Sorrento, Pompeii or Napoli (local line Circumvesuviana). last but not least, personell very kind and helpful. ... and price (in March) was reasonable.

The location with all the ocean views is beyond amazing. Pino with all the staff were super helpful and friendly. The restaurant offers delicious food in a beautiful garden. Our room was also nice and clean. There is a convenient parking for cars. You can get a shuttle bus to go to Amalfi or Positano. Totally recommend.

Villavita is a great accommodation in every way. The location is excellent, it has a generous courtyard and a large parking lot. It is a very quiet and safe area. It is a three-minute walk from the village center, where the bus stop is located, in case you want to use public transport, and from there the hiking trails to the coast start. In the center you can find everything you need, shops with local products, bakeries, restaurants and cafes. The host is very helpful and involved and if you wish she can also prepare a delicious authentic dinner for you. We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the place and the warmth with which the host welcomed us. We sincerely recommend this accommodation! We guarantee that you will not be disappointed! very nice and very clean hotel room near the regional train that connects Napoli and Sorrento. The house and room were quiet which is great after a warm day of sightseeing and queuing around with all the other tourists and dodging creative drivers. castellamare was great as a base for us because there are many restaurants and cafés and there is a public transport connection. the bathroom was very pretty and functional with a big shower, bidet,storage drawers. the host communicated with us on whatsapp and we got very detailed instructions for the self check in and prompt and friendly answers to any questions. :) our personal highlight were the welcome snacks and drinks that are included in the hotel price.
