Almost nobody around speaks English well, so communicating can be a big struggle Expect to be woken up by a prayer from the Mosque next door at 6 AM. However, they will be quiet for the rest of the night. Getting food is difficult. There is a coffee shop in the same building, but they don't serve food. 100m away there is a small takeaway eating place with cheap junk food. But there is no menu and they don't speak English well, so you just have to communicate with body language and hope they give you what you prefer. There is also a shop with snacks available there. No prices are displayed though. The staff will help you order takeaway, but a meal that makes you full costs around 6 JD, so be prepared.
