Breakfast was ok, not quite as good as other places. French Dinner was GREAT ! Everything was delicious and well prepared. Even the sauces were great. Would love to eat this food again and stay here again. Onsen was great and the room was beautiful. Also, the view was beautiful.Visitor from Tokyo loved this prpperty,the food and the service.

Very satisfied with our stay here while driving around in the area — the inn was a very calm and relaxing place with several amazing baths with different temperatures (cold, warm, warmer), and the kaiseki meal was delicious!

Every single thing - location, food, watermelon wine! The shuttle bus driver deserves an extra shoutout though. He was just so lovely. I guess I was easy to spot being the only foreigner there during my stay. But he was so kind and always had a little chat with me every time we crossed paths. These little interactions are always the highlights as a solo traveller.

+ the rice served at dinner time was super yummy and u can ask for refills! + loved the offering of different types of apple juice at check-in and during meals + stayed in room 101 and enjoyed sitting by my own private zen garden (although u look up to a view of the neighbouring house but fortunately didn’t see anyone looking down at me) + very comfortable bed set up by staff after dinner + the bathroom is shared but really big and it was nice soaking in the tub + wifi worked well + staff were friendly + easy drive to Iwakiyama Shrine and Iwaki Skyline (but otherwise there’s nothing much to see/do in the vicinity)
