This is a very quiet traditional town that had everything we needed. The beach nearby was lovely (black sand) and the people very friendly. I loved my long-weekend trip to Hyuga.
I loved my long-weekend trip to Hyuga. It's a fantastic place just to surf and it's less crowded. The other surfers were friendly, just a smile is all it takes. It had tons of great food just a drive away. The seafood was something to salivate over. The scenery was serene.
