I visited Iwami last year and knew I wanted to return in the summer and this was the perfect place to stay. The location is perfect for a quiet weekend visiting the scenic beaches along the coast. It’s so close to the station, cleanliness, amenities, polite abs friendly staffs, and good breakfast. I even left my hair iron after checking out and came back after few days to collect it before going to Okayama. We loved this hotel. Although I don’t think it was small, it had the feeling of a small cozy homey place. The public meeting spaces were a delight to be in. There was a small beautifully furnished room for children to play in, a wonderful selection of gorgeous books to enjoy, magazines, and many snacks and drinks to enjoy while sitting there. It felt so friendly and so cozy. It’s just across the main street from the train station, and the entire neighborhood is full of restaurants. The sushi restaurant we ate at, at the suggestion of the hotel was excellent. There is a little mini onsen they call a spa, we loved it.

This was a very comfortable business hotel that had everything we needed: it was spacious with a wonderful bathtub and shower, a huge comfy bed, great wifi, and a kitchenette. But the best part was the private parking for our motorcycle right on site. Loved that. The check in was easy as well.
