The staff is very friendly, though the late night staff does not speak much English. Suggest translator apps to make sure your needs are met. Helps to speak Japanese, honestly, but even for me, my app came in handy a couple of times. Rooms are larger than most; if you can get one, any floor above 5, facing the train station, is the way to go. Daisen dominates through large windows. My room was perfectly situated so I've booked it again for later this year. The location can't be beat, either, directly across from the train station, with all sorts of restaurants and activities nearby. The lobby has tourism brochures for all sorts of day trips. The top-floor restaurant has good breakfast options (Japanese or Western style, quite filling), very nice dinners. Though pricey, hotel guests receive a discount.

This is a very nice place to stay at in Tottori. Close to the station and bus stops to get to the Sand dune. I enjoyed the breakfast Buffett there a lot, even with my food allergy. The staff was very polite and helpful, especially the lady at the Buffett. She took me through the whole menu to show me what I can eat. So nice! The rooms had everything that you could need and was clean!

I liked that the switch for the lights and the thermostat were right on the bedside. I also liked the background music the TV played while on. It was very relaxing.

It’s so close to the station, cleanliness, amenities, polite abs friendly staffs, and good breakfast. I even left my hair iron after checking out and came back after few days to collect it before going to Okayama. I highly recommend this hotel and will use my club card more in the future to book at Toyoko Inn. Thank you.

Enjoyed the modern take on traditional Japanese aesthetics, from the lobby to the rooms. Friendly and welcoming staff. Very enjoyable baths, indoor and outdoor. Exceptionally close to the train station. Nice that the manga library included the Detective Conan series and Mizuki Shigeru's works.

Breakfast buffet was good, plenty of variety and enjoyable.

We loved this hotel. Although I don’t think it was small, it had the feeling of a small cozy homey place. The public meeting spaces were a delight to be in. There was a small beautifully furnished room for children to play in, a wonderful selection of gorgeous books to enjoy, magazines, and many snacks and drinks to enjoy while sitting there. It felt so friendly and so cozy. It’s just across the main street from the train station, and the entire neighborhood is full of restaurants. The sushi restaurant we ate at, at the suggestion of the hotel was excellent. There is a little mini onsen they call a spa, we loved it.

Excellent location close to the railway station. Overall atmosphere of the hotel is of the dignity that I expected from the name. Staff was polite and professional. Food was excellent at the breakfast restaurant.

The staff were wonderful and they helped us with a taxi booking. The rooms were clean with comfortable beds. This hotel is located a short walk from the train station and it is close to bars and restaurants.

Overall a good value for money

The room is spacious and has big nice window. It comes with onsen facility bu't I dont use it since I was happy with the tub in my room. The hotel located near Kurayoshi station. It really helps when you travel using public transport (and don't really speak Japanese). There are shopping mall, supermarket, and several restaurants in the neighbourhood as well.
