Featuring a garden, Royal Room Of King is located in Jeonju in the Jeollabuk-Do region, 1.9 miles from Jeonju Hanok Village and 1.5 miles from Chimyeongjasan Holy Ground. The room was comfortable and well kept. Reception were incredibly polite and helpful for me, I could not ask anything more of them. Hanbok village is about a 2 mile walk, which is pleasent. I walked to the village and back once in daylight, once at night time. I felt very safe at all times, even given a lack of illumination. I always carry a small pocket torch anyway.

Nice traditional Hanok village and beautiful mountain scenery surrounding it. Perfect for families and visitors interested in the culture of Korea. However, do not expect too much to be going on after dark...at least not in the cultural center. Would recommend a two day (one night) stay.
My favorite city in Korea (I lived here 5 years, over 10 years ago). Nature, history, culture, food-- Jeonju has it all. After the pandemic, I hope the festivals are back, as Jeonju knows how to throw a party. It's really a must for traveller to Korea.
I recieved some help from the locals in the makgeolli district. I was pleasantly surprised by the hospitality shown to me here. I had some locals help me get a taxi on two occassions there. Lovely people Very welcoming place overall. I was a little disappointed because i was turned away from some nightclubs here because im not korean. Putting that aside though, Jeonju is a great place to stay. I recommend a hanok stay and it can be very affordable. Koreans love the PNB choco pie things so i recommend buying some for your boss or friends. They'll be very grateful
It's a pleasant and quiet town with a historical area filled with traditional houses. A variety of restaurants and cafes to spend nice time at. I really liked the area around the river with a nice bridge and the Jaman Mural village with lots of interesting wall paintings. Go away from the busy maid drag with neon signs and street food and enjoy the quiet side streets and admire the beauty of guesthouses. If you like history this is THE place in Korea. I took a guided tour of the Gyeonggijeno shrine and really enjoyed it. Also enjoyed the gardens surrounding it.
Jeonju is a really fun place to soak up the traditions of Sth. Korea. Full of history and fantastic restaurants. Also, everything to see is located in the Hanook Village - so you don't need a car to get around.
Lovely old town, the prettiest hanok village in Korea in my experience. The food is great, and there are lovely buildings to admire all day long. It's a place to savour and slowly enjoy, not rush through as many people do. Across the river is Seohak village, old Jeonju and it's worth a visit on a day walkabout too, with museums and art galleries abound.

We were so surprised regarding how affordable the prices were to see how pretty, nice and well put together the house was. A little traditional Hanok house, the room was little but so cosy and perfect for us. In the middle of the hanok village in Jeonju you could just go out and buy some food in the street food alley. The host was the nicest, she pointed on the map her recommandations for us and kept our bags during the day. We had the best time, thank you ! And also best breakfast in all the houses I visited, truly a Gem.
Jeonju
It is right near the main area of the Hanok village but in a street that doesn’t get too noisy or busy! It is very central and easy to get to most places and areas of Jeonju, and the traditional style Hanok feels very authentic and cosy. It has a tv, shower, bedding, and even machine for mosquitos. The owners are also extremely nice and hospitable, they give so much advice and recommendations, and prepare you for your journey back with a snack bag! Also the breakfast provided is very lovely. Would recommend again!

Had a great stay at Jeonju Nostalgic Home. The lady was very welcoming. Even if her English wasn't that good she was still persistent in order to provide us with some useful information in regard to an upcoming festival. The rooms are very clean and all facilities are at hand in order to have a great living environment. Location is awesome: right at the edge of the Hanok village. Many cafe's, restaurants and convenient stores nearby. Jeonju Nostalgic Home comes highly recommended!!
Jeonju
Starlight is a lovely traditional hanok guest house and is close to everything. The rooms are not large, but everything is extremely clean and the owners go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We have a very picky eating kid, and the breakfast was great, which is unusual in Korean hotels/guest houses in our experience. It's also close to everything. You can walk to basically everything in Jeonju and they offer parking right by the house as well.

The owner of this accommodation is really friendly! It was Chuseok when we stayed in the hotel and he surprised us with traditional style snacks for breakfast! It made our day brighter! As well as the location of the hotel is perfect. The hotel located in Hanok village which makes it really easy to explore city without worries about transportation!

I totally enjoyed 2 nights here with my friends on the cherry blossom season. Cozy room with all things we need, friendly care from Mr. Raon when we had just arrived on the bus express, stunning view from the cafe and lovely view from the our room too. We literally love the hotel and will book again when we back to Jeonju.

I loved the atmosphere in this guesthouse! The owner is very friendly and helpful, there are four rooms with four beds each and two bathrooms per gender. The kitchen/chill-out area is decorated nicely and invites to hang out with other travellers. Jeonju Hanok Village is within walking distance.
Jeonju
A very nice traditional place in the hanok village. The room is small but very traditional so it can be considered as a cultural experience. It had all the necessities and a private shower. Loved healthy breakfast option as well!

The room was nice and clean, will enough futons and a convenient bathroom. The location in the hanok village was perfect, and the host was very nice and responsive, let us keep the luggage on the property until our train.
Location was good-- in the heart of the shopping area downtown, walking distance to the Hanok Village. The room was pretty quiet, and featured a tub. Wifi was good.
