Friendly family owners. Always helpful. Attached restaurant serves excellent food. My wife and I are vegan so it was very hard to find much on the island in low season. This little restaurant was a life saver!

Booked for 2 nights, stayed for 4! The owner was lovely and helpful, and when we extended our stay they even reduced the price for us which was so nice. Clean and large rooms. Restaurant next door did great food. Sunset from the room in the evening was beautiful.

Lovely room, absolutely spotless. Bathroom spotless too. Nice decor in the room, good to have a mosquito net over the bed too as this island has a lot of mosquitos. Aircon worked well, room had a little balcony too. Good wifi too. The owner was absolutely brilliant, went out of his way to allow us to check in extremely early as we had been travelling all night. Most places do not allow this and we really appreciated being able to check in so early and get some sleep. He also sorted out our laundry to be washed for us too at a reasonable price. Location brilliant, only a few mins walk from the boat pier and within a minute or two walk from many restaurants.

This is a beautiful hotel with an amazing view from the restaurant. The beds are very comfortable and the staff was very high quality and very friendly. The sunset from the restaurant is amazing. The manager and his wife are very very helpful and friendly.

    We had a perfect stay here - the location is great on the sunset side of the island and Darren is always on hand for help and great chats. He couldn’t have done more for us and even took our bags to the boat for our onward travel. He has great restaurant recommendations and clearly puts a lot of effort into making his guests feel at home. The rooms are very clean, great a/c and a stocked mini bar that you pay for at the end! The area is great for chilling out and you can hire bikes next door.

    The property is spotless,very very clean and everything works well.Towels and bed sheets are proper ones,soft and not too thin.The location is very central and the balcony overlooks the Mekong river.Also,toilet paper and a big bottle of water is provided everyday without having to ask.

    Beautiful location with a lovely view from the terrace. We could walk into the centre of Don Det or over the bridge to Don Khone. Comfortable beds, clean room. Easy check in and check out, carried out capably by the owners' young daughters. Cold shower only, but wasn't an issue in the hot weather. Western toilet with a bucket flush, again not a problem for us as it was very clean.

    The room was very clean, had good AirCon plus a fan, both very useful. The location was perfect and it had a balcony that was overlooking the Mekong. The view was magnificent. The place was quiet and beautiful, cleaned daily if you want and also they give a large bottle of water daily. W e liked it so much e extended by several days. The balcony had a table and two chairs. We did not Sue it much as the heat back then was intense but very pleasant to sit there and have a drink.

    Compared to everything else on the island I think we were really happy with our choice to stay at Mama Leurth. This is because there aren't that many budget options with AC and we were so happy to have the AC. The room was big, cool and comfortable. I was worried about mosquito's and ants because of other reviews I read but we didn't see any at all in our room in the two nights that we stayed. The location was great. We did laundry while we were there, and it came back nice and clean.
