DD Guesthouse is brand new to booking, we came across it by referral. Newly built, great location, quiet and the owner is really kind. So don’t see the low amount of reviews as a problem. My partner and I had such a special stay here. The whole place had breathtaking views and was a real farm stay feel. Waking up to misty mountains and buffalo’s with veggie gardens on the land. Delicious breakfasts made by our host Kent who was also so kind and welcoming. The location was great and you can organise rock climbing next door.. as well as close caves, lagoons and view points. We loved it so much we extend our stay.

The hotel was super nice and clean. I couldn’t believe how cheap the price was! There was even a pool on the 2nd floor. Although it was a small, it was a great way to unwind in the hot weather.

The staff was always very kind and helpful. The bedroom is very wide, the bathroom too. A lot of space to move, and the bed was also very big. The room was cleaned everyday.

Our stay was great hotel supper clean and new build . Able to walk to restaurant , pub, coffee shop... Staff help us book tuktuk to lagoon , viewpoint . We enjoyed times stay at Vangvieng and Dokchampa.

I had a very bad experience staying in this city before, and I chose this hotel with little hope. However, they created such a wonderful experience for me—the staff were polite and professional, the breakfast quality was excellent considering Laos and the hotel’s price, and the room was very clean. In the early morning, I could see the balloons passing by my balcony while still in bed, and the pool was amazing. I completely forgot all my bad memories. The price, compared to the services, location, and overall facilities, was excellent, and I regret not staying longer. They even kindly upgraded me to a larger room without charging any extra fees.

Nice view from room. I love this mountain view in a quiet place. Basic facilities but rather cheap in Vang Vieng. Wi-Fi speed was fast. Hotel owner is a kind and helpful man. I am really enjoyable because I have no complaint about Vang Vieng Camellia Hotel. I am sure to return this hotel if I am planning to visit VV again.
