Great location. The restaurant had good options and was a very nice place to sit, relax and people watch. The waitress and the man at the reception were very very kind and helpful. The breakfast included with the room was great.

Great place to stay whilst doing the loop. We started and ended here and booked the room for the entire stay to keep our stuff safe (it was affordable for us to do this). I've seen on other reviews that they will store your stuff whilst you're on the loop so you don't have to book and pay for a room whilst you're away. The hotel staff are young, cool and friendly. They arranged the bikes for us and had them delivered to the accommodation; the bikes were in very good condition. The place is a little walk away from town but once you have the bikes it's easy to get around. We did walk back one night after sunset and the street dogs from town to the hotel can be rather aggressive, so it's not advised to walk around at night- this is not the hotel owners fault; they are not responsible for the street dogs of laos! We booked the bus from here to the capital with the hotel, you pay a bit more but the owner does transport you to the bus station in a 4x4 nice and early so you can get a good seat. If you want to save a little bit of money you can buy your ticket yourself at the bus station for 150,000kip but you also have to find your own way to the bus station

The room was decently sized and clean. Location is right along the river with a beautiful view and a restaurant right across the street. Temples and other restaurants are also within walking distance. Will return to this hotel when I come back to Thakhek.

The owners are super friendly and help you with really everything. The hostel is super clean and well looked after. The beds are comfy and have curtains for privacy. Definitely one of the best hostels I've stayed at in the last three months :)
