Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw
Pampering in a spa and fitness centre, Royal Nay Pyi Taw Hotel offers an outdoor pool and a restaurant. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel was quiet which was quite a blessing during the mid-year Jade Emporium when Nay Pyi Taw's hotels are packed with boisterous jade merchants. There is an attractive lake in the middle of the complex, and the hotel is stuffed with beautiful wooden sculptures, the most impressive of which is the huge snarling lion in the restaurant.
Interesting city, starting to have more life to it these days and still looking impeccably clean and well taken care of. The local population are friendly to foreigners and very welcoming. Small selection of good restaurants and bars for the evenings, plenty to see and do in the daytime. Well worth setting aside a few days to visit the city and experience the capital of Myanmar.
Nay Pyi Taw is a new capital city of Myanmar. It's very beautiful city with large road where the boeing flight can landing. It's a disciplined city and you will excited and feel happiness once you see there made wonderful lotus flowers at the traffic point. There is many restaurante, you can eat at hotel or outside of hotel. Yes you can get around Nay Pyi Taw, there have wonderful and beautiful Water Fountain Park, National Race Museum, National People Garden along with beautiful lake and Buddha Gaya which is same BodhGaya India. This Nay Pyi Taw city like flower garden that they are decorated. Please visit Nay Pyi Taw I like to recommend you.
I love the hospitable and helpful people in Nay Pyi Taw. I felt safe even when I was travelling alone at night. The climate at night was very pleasant. However, most of the people could not speak English and halal restaurants were very limited. Things were not very cheap either. I would recommend Jasmin restaurant at Pyinmana that served boneless fish and many other HALAL dishes. Please also visit the Gem Museum; Army Museum, Fountain Park and Myoma Market. Capita Mall and Ocean Supercentre offee a good selection of food and shopping.
You don't miss anything if you haven't been here. Naypyidaw isn't a ghost town as often stated on blogs that probably haven't been here. There is a pagoda that isn't crowded and with a nice view over the surroundings so that's nice but you will probably have to take a taxi driver since the hotel zone is somewhat far away (and Taxis are quite expensive just to let you know). The water fountain parc is okayish but as for the city you haven't missed anything if you weren't here. There is also a local market that's nice. For a restaurant tip there is a cafe called dream coffee which also serves vegetarian food and the staff is really friendly and speaks good english. If you want to have a layover on the way to Mandalay then staying here is okay otherwise don't. Just my plain opinion.
It is a town spread over a large area with lots of trees and open land in between as well as wide highways with little traffic. There is a small corner in town called Leve where there are interesting restaurants. The restaurant Excellent lives up to its name with great local food and a live band every night. The park with the water fountain is also worth a visit.
a strange expierience for everyone, still very less people, still endless roads-not longer without traffic-but still very few!!! it feals like somethimh had happened to all the people, an epidemic or something ;) but there have never been more people ... it is just like a much toooo big suit
