The luxurious Dusit Thani Maldives offers 94 Villas and Residences, located in Baa Atoll, the Maldives’ first and only UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. It is a small Island, so you can reach all facilities easily with the provided bicycles. The food is exceptional, especially at the Seagrill and Benjarong. We stayed in the ocean villa with pool, where it was really quiet and the ocean view was amazing. You can go snorkelling with provided vests right from your villa. We got to see reef sharks and eagle rays. Dusit Thani offers a wide Ränge of activities - we went for a couple of dives and we always were in small dive groups. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, we felt very comfortable at all times. The great service started at the airport, where the employees pick you up. Checkin is done at the Dusit Thani airport lounge, so the holiday starts immediately when you reach the island. Overall a great experience. We will definitely come back.

The service and respective personal was just excellent- without any exception. Huge Lagoon with all kind of fish and wildlife just in front of our beach house. This was so convenient for the kids and a perfect spot to snorkel for hours. The food choice was excellent and of very good quality. As in most places in the Maldives, all activities are totally overpriced. It is the only thing you can really complain about. If it would be more reasonable, more people would use the offers for sure. But for instance 192$USD for 30 minutes Jetski is just unacceptable, like all other offers. 1 hour standup paddle 20$… this should be included .
This was our fourth trip to the Maldives and by far the best. Milaidhoo staff welcomes you with open arms and makes it personal. After a few days they know how you like your breakfast/diner and know you by name. That's a special touch. There a 3 different restaurants with their own touch/cuisine. When you have the possibility money-wise choose the gourmet-plan. It makes you enjoy all the ways the restaurants and bar have to offer. Just sit back and relax! Milaidhoo has a superb housereef; beautiful corals, fish abundant, reef sharks, turtles and even octopus! All while snorkeling. Our special thanks goes out to our butler Abdullah; he was the best! If you think about staying in the northwest baa atol, this is the resort to be!
Great holiday and destination but just be aware of long transfer to/from Male due to local flight and boat and not many connecting flights each day. Better solution would be direct seaplane to resort.
the restaurants they have are extra ordinary with unmatched sea food taste and quality that we had never tasted like them before . the staff was so friendly and helpful and made our stay so enjoyable, and my kid had the best time of here life with the kid club activities.
at Cek-aut I paid not to discuss and ruin the holiday, however, I am not convinced that I have to pay the $ 42 green tax because it is not included in my rate. I do not agree on the $ 59.5 service charge because it is not indicated in the price. I formally request the refund of the two sums. I also point out that I received the cleaning of the room 3 days out of 7, there were also in the delux double room bathrobe bathroom products towels only two and changed once out of 7 days lack of clothesline alarm clock because lack of telephone, the inconvenience quantified in 50 euros. I await a prompt reply and the amounts shown above are credited back to my credit card.
Our resort in Baa Atoll was outstanding, and we did two excursions around the resort: one was a dolphin safari and the other a turtle reef snorkeling outing. The Baa Atoll has pristine waters, perfect for snorkeling and diving alike. We were mesmerized by the beauty, vibrant marine life, and clear waters.
Baa Atoll
1. Baa Atoll is the territory of UNESCO marine park and it is was extremely beautiful here. Swimming with mantas is must. 2. The island has a very special atmosphere- it’s calm and quiet, but very green 3. Staff is the best one. Very pleasant and helpful. Living in the island, especially during a quite a long time - you live like in the family. My flight was delayed and the hotel’s representative in the Male’s airport put a lot of efforts to make my waiting not so frustrated. I will be back;)
Baa Atoll
Everything was PERFECT! Thanks to our host Akram and the rest of the great staff. Our host helped us with every single small detail and request. All of the staff are well-informed about our likes and dislikes what our schedule looks like which is unheard of. Villa was great, loved the breakfast, activities and everything about the place! The best service we have received in our entire life! And I really think that what made our stay stress free and super convenient and comfortable.
Good combination of value for money. Definitely recommend to visit. Nice coral reef, amazing selection of food, very polite and friendly stuff. Very green tropical nature. Villas are not luxurious but still I enjoyed my stay here very much. I definitely recommend this hotel.
