The hotel is right on the beach, it's very beautiful and quiet. Very clean, and we are overall pleased with it! Close to the place for snorkelling with turtles.

Ikalar is so beautiful and extraordinary that words cannot describe it. I have never seen something like this before on planet earth. Everything was built with so much love, beauty, phantasy and in perfect harmony with nature and the cosmos. Thank you Andres for being a role model how creativity could flow into architecture. We had a lovely two-day stay at Amaya's place and can recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone planning a visit to Yucatan.

This resort is really exceptional. We loved everything - the rooms were amazing, staff so helpful and welcoming and the beach was paradise..we didn't see a turtle unfortunately but saw lots of other cool sea life. This was our first time in an all inclusive resort and we were a bit unsure how the food would be but we weren't disappointed at all...the French and Japanese restaurants were our favourites! We also did the jungle tour and really enjoyed learning about the nature of the resort and the evening entertainment was of great quality...we will be returning.

A lovely apartment with good facilities, kept immaculately clean, within the Tulum Country Club/Bahia Principe grounds. The pool is small but welcome and clean, and the mangrove/swamp area at the back has plenty of wildlife - iguanas, crocodiles, large birds and fish. Jesus and his family were excellent and responsive hosts - and you will need their advance instructions to navigate the various gatekeepers to access the resort if you are driving; but otherwise leave you to enjoy your stay. The grounds have a free shuttle service to the beach area and the main restaurants, but it only runs every 30m to each destination, with the beach service not starting until after 10am, so unless you want to confine yourselves to resort-fare, you are really going to want a car.
