Amazing place where to stay for relaxing moments. Close to Bacalar, especially if you’re with car. Staff is very kind and friendly, they have an private, beautiful access to laguna, with chairs and tables, everything around is green and tropical. Nice breakfast also in territory. Definitely worth it, couldn’t imagine better place for staying near by Bacalar. Also they are offering bicycles and kayaks. Pool and very stylish bathrooms.

Amazing place for chill and relax in the middle of jungle. Seriously unbelievable place. The road to the hotel does not reveal the beauty of it, but it’s worth to drive through. Fully recommend.

Best stay during our 6 weeks trip! Such a lovely place, 20mins drive from Bacalar, but really calm village in the northern, not so crowded part of the lagoon! Founder’s are great help with many things. But also just hanging out at the pool, was amazing LOVED IT ❤️

This is a hidden gem in a more quiet area of the Bacalar lagoon. It has so much charm, attention to detail and comfort that I can spend an hour just describing these things… well, to start with - there are two very comfortable double beds, a full size fridge, full size stove/oven, a separate bathroom that is the size of a room, a huge patio outside where you can unwind with friends and family, and a very nice rooftop for more “oriental experience”. In a walking distance is a public access to the Laguna- a bit old and rundown but still very family friendly. And a few hidden spots your host will tell you about:) The building itself is a masterpiece made of packed soil bags. Also, this is part of a larger complex (casa Maracuja) that can be rented and has the potential to become a huge private event. Finally the host was very responsive and accommodated all my requests!

Family who looking after property was so so welcoming. Lady showed all amenities, where to get fresh artisan bred( can beat fresh baked bread). Local people are very friendly. Place its a gem. Views to die for. Lake to swim and so peaceful. Colourful birds and beautiful nature sounds. Lady/ family who looks after property so welcoming and friendly made feel very comfortable and and without her would be not the same. Big thank you to them .

Beautiful villa in a lovely location! The staff is very sweet and helpful. We could swim in the lake on a private place. We where just with 2 people but we can imagine it would be lovely to come with a few more people and enjoy the jacuzzi a good bbq. It’s soooo nice!

The Cabana is beautifully located directly at the lake. The pictures in the listing are very true. The cabana is well equipped for self catering (including a washing machine). We did not miss anything. The use of kayaks were complimentary. We spend a lot of time on the lake and enjoyed the pure nature. Communication was quick and responsive. We definitely can recommend this place.
