We had the nicest stay in Khaban, we didn’t want to leave. It is such a tranquil place, you feel like the lagoon is all to yourself. The room was stunning and it felt very private with beautiful views. The staff were so kind, we have to give a special mention to Victor, he was so good to us and we really enjoyed chatting with him. The location is a little bit out of the town, which we loved as it was relaxing, we only left once to do a tour of the lagoon as we had everything we needed. Food was delicious too with lots of variety. We would 100% return here if we every got the chance.

It had everything I wanted and let me fully relax. We went into town one day and I was so happy that we had chosen to stay at Cayuco Maya instead. The food, vibe and views were all perfect.

The location is right at the lake shore. The room was big and spacious, with a 'bigger then needed' bathroom, and a porch (ground floor balcony) which is the entrance to the room and it is facing the lake. This is somewhat a positive and a negative feature, since there is a great view to the lake, but also the whole room is directly exposed to be viewed by others. There is a great common area, a wooden dock with a hut, a semi-open bar/kitchen, an outside water cooler, a short pebbled entrance way that adds to the nice atmosphere to the hotel. It is really great that there are 4 kayaks that can be taken for free to explore the lake.

Set in Bacalar, Beryllos Bacalar has a garden. There is a year-round outdoor pool and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking.

Absolutely lovely place with such kind and lovely owners. It was very homely and comfortable, while not feeling like we were in somebody else's space. We loved that there was a stove, oven, microwave, fridge and coffee machine in the communal area. It felt a bit like a hostel, except that the crowd was very mixed in age and also included families. We stayed in Mexico for four weeks and this was our favourite place.

Excelent place on the lagoon, with very good access to the water. You can asleep in hamacca and early watch the sunrice. Very helpfull staff.
