It was very rustic, but right in the most natural setting. I saw so many amazing birds and animals! We felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. I especially liked the kayaking and hiking.

The location is right at the lake shore. The room was big and spacious, with a 'bigger then needed' bathroom, and a porch (ground floor balcony) which is the entrance to the room and it is facing the lake. This is somewhat a positive and a negative feature, since there is a great view to the lake, but also the whole room is directly exposed to be viewed by others. There is a great common area, a wooden dock with a hut, a semi-open bar/kitchen, an outside water cooler, a short pebbled entrance way that adds to the nice atmosphere to the hotel. It is really great that there are 4 kayaks that can be taken for free to explore the lake.

A beautiful new boutique hotel right on the edge of the lagoon . All of the fittings were of high quality and our room was large and comfortable with a wonderful view over the lagoon . Great to watch the sunrise every morning. The breakfast served every morning was delicious and the staff were wonderful. We enjoyed using the kayaks and there were also SUPs available for guest use . The hotel is very near to Cenote Azul which was beautiful for swimming . We also enjoyed visiting Los Rapidos and exploring the centre of Bacalar .

A very nice hotel with nice grounds and swimming pool with outside communal kitchen and free drinking water. The rooms were comfortable and good considering the price. The host couldn’t have been more helpful to me and nothing was too much trouble. They lent me a bike as I had an injury and couldn’t walk far, arranged an early morning taxi and added a Netflix to my TV. I also checked in 1 hour early without problem as the room was ready. There are restaurants near by and a large supermarket about 10 mins or so away or other small shops closer.

All the bungalows are next to the laguna. You have large windows and mosquito nets. The bungalows are very clean and spacious. The small fridge was very much appreciated. You have canoes, SUPs, and live vests at your disposal. Parking is convenient.

Excelent place on the lagoon, with very good access to the water. You can asleep in hamacca and early watch the sunrice. Very helpfull staff.
