This place reminded me of a meditation retreat i used to go to called vipassana in California. The beauty of the water is impressive. the staff are kind and friendly. The place has a peaceful vibe to it. I can tell they have paid a lot of attention to small details to make this place look beautiful. It is truly quiet, which is a gem to me where most places are playing loud music.

The breakfast is amazing! A la carte options for breakfast is something I like. No food waste and very fresh and delicious. Location is perfect, just a short ride into town and remote enough to experience the peace and serenity of the lake.

It had everything I wanted and let me fully relax. We went into town one day and I was so happy that we had chosen to stay at Cayuco Maya instead. The food, vibe and views were all perfect.

The location is right at the lake shore. The room was big and spacious, with a 'bigger then needed' bathroom, and a porch (ground floor balcony) which is the entrance to the room and it is facing the lake. This is somewhat a positive and a negative feature, since there is a great view to the lake, but also the whole room is directly exposed to be viewed by others. There is a great common area, a wooden dock with a hut, a semi-open bar/kitchen, an outside water cooler, a short pebbled entrance way that adds to the nice atmosphere to the hotel. It is really great that there are 4 kayaks that can be taken for free to explore the lake.

Set in Bacalar, Beryllos Bacalar has a garden. There is a year-round outdoor pool and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking.

This place is family-owned, is kept clean, and has a nice-sized swimming pool. Super friendly people are always ready to help you, we had pizza delivered to our room, and we didn't wait long, we definitely will visit again.

The rooms were beautiful and very large, the lake access was stunning and the overall location amazing. Guillermo was a fantastic host and was so helpful with restaurant recommendations and helping with ordering taxis. We will be back!

Beautiful property right on the lake with tasteful design and two pool areas. You can jump from the pier into the lake and have dinner on the waterfront. We loved our Lakeview room and had breakfast on the terrace each morning. The food was incredible and our highlight! Each meal was a theatrical experience and the staff go above and beyond. We loved that the steak is cooked right in front of you on a hot salt slab.

We loved the location, so close to the lagoon and walking distance to everything in town. The breakfast was delicious a great coffee too. The rooftop was excellent for watching the sunrise and cooling off in the pool. The hotel has bikes you can take out and about to explore which was a bonus. Beautiful planing and decor.
