This place reminded me of a meditation retreat i used to go to called vipassana in California. The beauty of the water is impressive. the staff are kind and friendly. The place has a peaceful vibe to it. I can tell they have paid a lot of attention to small details to make this place look beautiful. It is truly quiet, which is a gem to me where most places are playing loud music.

Wonderful place, the room was great and well furnished. Easy access to the lagoon with with kayaks and canoas available. Excellent breakfast. Really recommended.

It is in the middle of nowhere, and this is what gives its beauty. A spacious cabin right in front of the lake with a large window and the marvellous sunrise is not to miss. Swimming in the lake has its unique charm too. The use of the canoe is free of charge. A simple and rich breakfast with a nice service. Mosquitos? Not a single bite in my 6 days stay, probably they didn't like my blood type.

It was so close to the water, you could go for a swim any time in shallow, clear water. There is only 10 rooms, so it’s never crowded. The staff were amazing - so friendly, helpful and kind. Jess the manager was so attentive and spoke great English, and the receptionists were very helpful. The restaurant food is absolutely delicious, the chef is very talented.

Set in Bacalar, Beryllos Bacalar has a garden. There is a year-round outdoor pool and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking.

Great location if you want a quiet area. Fantastic recommendation for a restaurant nearby which we visited 3 times We borrowed the kayaks which are free and went for a paddle. The staff were all very friendly. Easy parking outside the door

Beautiful property right on the lake with tasteful design and two pool areas. You can jump from the pier into the lake and have dinner on the waterfront. We loved our Lakeview room and had breakfast on the terrace each morning. The food was incredible and our highlight! Each meal was a theatrical experience and the staff go above and beyond. We loved that the steak is cooked right in front of you on a hot salt slab.

Everything! This was one of the nicest boutique stays I’ve had. Every little detail including the design and inclusions was just candy for the eyes. Very picturesque against such a beautiful lagoon. Staff were incredible from the moment we walked in - nothing was difficult or hard to organise for us. The common balcony and pool overlooking views of the lagoon in the balmy weather was such a highlight, complete with the best shisha! Great music/playlist as well. Having the restaurant Riad attached was a bonus as well. Our washing was returned within one day and reasonably priced. Room size was super generous, Luxe bedding, super clean, condiments included from the coffee, water and body soaps and creams smelled amazing! And the hot water and water pressure was so good too! Access to the lagoon at the front is so easy to walk out to from the hotel for only 20pesos. Parking is also available close to the hotel on the street. We were so sad to be leaving :(
