For first time tourist I recommend to focus on Teluk Kemang area first as most of the tourist site are here. Accomodations/hotels/restaurant/homestay are practically abundant but one of my complaint is most of the beach are private beach within hotels compound so the choice can be limited.Guest review byZakariaMalaysia - 8.0

Nice views, should publicise more. Nice walk at forest reserve to Rachado lighthouse-to see migratory birds. Nice seafood at restaurants nearby. Waterfront was also great view. Port Dickon is a small town made famous by the number of beaches. Kelang Valley people normally drive there for weekends just to be by the many beaches. It is easy to get around in Port Dickson. If there's just one piece of advice I can give, it is to avoid coming to Port Dickson during school holidays. There is always too many people, traffic is horrendous, most hotels, apartments and homestays are occupied, the rental prices are more expensive than normal and most eating places are crowded. It's always better to visit on weekdays, or if that's not possible, come before Friday and leave on Saturday to beat the crowd. The beaches are alright to stroll along but I would not swim in it. There are plenty of good restaurants in PD, so eating out will be the highlights of your trip. If you like nature, do not miss Tanjung Tuan / Cape Rochade. It only takes about 20 - 30 minutes to stroll up the hill to the lighthouse and if you're feeling more adventurous, there are several good jungle trails you can hike (some will take you to a beach, others will take you to a rock outcrop which you can climb and get some nice ocean view).Guest review byHalimi AbdullahMalaysia
