De Nachtegaal is a 4-star hotel in the Dutch Bulb Region, 1.2 mi from the Keukenhof Gardens and 30 minutes' drive from Amsterdam. It also has free public parking and free WiFi. Wonderful stay. We arrived at about 9am after a long flight from the USA. Girls at the front desk were so nice. We decided to rent bicycles right at the front desk - bikes were located at the front door. We rode until the room was ready. Beds were SO, SO comfortable. Front desk help always friendly and helpful. We had requested a room facing the tulip fields and that is what we got. Breakfast was very generous. Very satisfied.

It’s a small town, great for relaxing, biking or walking around the tulip fields in April. The Keukenhof Garden is a short bike ride or bus ride from the city. I highly recommend staying here from March to May.
Beautiful little town with everything you need, but beware that the whole place shuts down at 6pm. Unless you're into spending time at the bar or camping out at a restaurant, there's not much to do besides walk around. Enjoyed walking past flower fields even if it was the end of the season and looking at the critters: many local farmers with goats, llamas, and cows, and plenty of wild birds, frogs, and kitties. Cool spot!

Location was great to vist Keukenhof garden, although you do need a car. We only stayed one night but we had a great stay and were welcomed with a smile even when we showed up after midnight due to our flight delay. The bed is really confortable! We didn't have breakfast as we left really early, but I hear from previous guest that is great. We would def reccomed staying here as an alternative to big hotels. Thanks again for the hospitality!
