Beautiful! The woodwork, stained glass, room balcony, view of lake, historic/library section, location. The vintage door to balcony and windows are lovely and nostalgic.

The color scheme overall was way too dark, black palette everywhere combined with poor lighting in bedrooms so even finding the night lamp was difficult, black on black!🙃 But then this brightly lit electronic panel for temp reg, plus a couple other bright light sources in the room also disturbed sleep. During the day just a narrow window for any day light at all coming from inner courtyard 😩 Staff at front desk lobby were great! Breakfast staff very friendly. But would never stay here again. Bathroom was fine. Cleaning staff did a nice job. The nightclub vibe was just not what we were going for. Also, did everything in this hotel have to so consistently show the same, repetitive design patters..everywhere???
