Location was great! You were close to all the local downtown shops, with a close walk to the grocery and other stores if needed. It was a quick 10 minute walk to the train station, so great location. It was perfect size for one to two people. I think it may be a bit tight with kids, but there is a loft that could be utilized possibly for that. The room was stocked with everything I needed, so I definitely would stay again.

Peaceful, comfortable and well equipped. A mini hob and toaster which were a real bonus. Beautiful garden to watch the sun set. Fabulous shower.

Carmen invited us very friendly into her home and made us feel at home. For example: she turned on the lights before we arrived, turned on the heating in the apartment. The apartment was decorated and the facilities exceeded our expectations: she had magazines, a full kitchenette with everything you could possibly need. Would definitely recommend or visit a next time!

The owners/hosts were most hospitable, accessible, friendly and accommodating (this is a guest house so you will encounter them at some point). Check in was facilitated by the host, but if he wasn't there, self check-in would be easy to do. The house was beautiful with immaculate grounds. The place was easy to find and was less than 10 minutes by car to Hoorn Centrum and the train stations.

The Studio Guesthouse enjoys a location in Volendam, 13 miles from A'DAM Lookout and 14 miles from Rembrandt House.

The breakfast was great, facilities included a well set out kitchen where we could prepare other meals during the day and each morning a comprehensive breakfast was left for each customer to access when they got up. We loved our stay! Mr Muhren was a very welcoming host and the tour of his recording studio was fascinating!
