Such a cozy and modern tiny house that hosted our family of four (kids 9 and 12) perfectly! The location was just a few minutes away from the Flam ferry terminal, but felt very secluded in the valley along a rushing river with views of waterfalls and the flamsbana train. The free car charger was appreciated and the beds were very comfortable.

Staff was really good, friendly, helping and charming. Room was very nice and cozy. We found the apple tree and asked the reception if we can eat it they actively gave us the permission and the apple was nice. Car park is right infron if the room which makes it very convenient. They had all the necessary facilities in the room (stove, kettle, tea/coffe maker, pots n pans and cutlery). The only thing room needs is a biddet to accomodate guests from different culture and faith.

Even though it was a little small - it was perfect for a one night stay! Friendly staff and the bathrooms/showers were close by. Picnic table outside the cabin was a great addition!

Aurland is a quiet town with a well-stocked grocery and an...

Aurland is a quiet town with a well-stocked grocery and an excellent bakery. It is not a port of call for the huge Sognefjord cruise ships, so it is not overrun by tourists multiple times a day. By car, the town is 20 minutes from Flåm, 35 minutes from Lærdal via the Lærdalstunnelen (the world's longest road tunnel, at almost 25km), and 2.5 hours from Bergen. A refueling station is located just south of town, off the E-16 roundabout. It offers reasonable prices for electric vehicle charging and petrol/diesel fuel. And, it serves the best homemade soup in the area!

Its a place which has lots of amazing things to do, every corner has a picture perfect view. In the beginning you might feel that 2-3 days are enough but I think you at least need 5 days. Good place to stay, we went to flam and Odda. Going and coming back from Odda was little bit hectic because it was raining heavily, the roads are very small, there are some places where there is only one lane, no two vehicles will fit. so be careful at such road. The nature is amazing, flam station has good food stall, I guess all major street foods.

Aurland is a beautiful and peaceful place with breathtaking scenery all around. The fjord views are unforgettable, and the surrounding mountains make it feel truly magical. It’s a perfect destination for relaxing, enjoying nature, and exploring nearby attractions like Flåm. Highly recommended for anyone who loves quiet, picturesque locations.

Wonderful location to celebrate holidays through out the year . Fjords and hike added extra value to the journey . There is a lot to do and view at the place . There is a small supermarket called coop next to the flam station which is helpful to buy necessary items . There are 2 coffee shops at the bus station at Flam . I would not depend on restaurants at Aurland . Flam is only 15 minutes away by car from Aurland, so , it will be a better idea to have food or buy food stuff from Flam ,especially because restaurants are closed after 5-6 in the evening at Aurland in Winter . They say, restaurants are open for longer time during summer . Only problem is public transport . There is not enough public transport facility between Flam and Aurland ,so we had to rely on local taxi services . Lokaltaxi (the name of the taxi service ) was really helpful.

Great location with a fantastic view on the fjord, away from...

Great location with a fantastic view on the fjord, away from the hustle and bustle of Flam, however, can be slightly tricky to get around, although you just need to book onto the shuttle bus for a small fee in reality, so it's not that big of a deal.

Aurland is a small village situated in a beautiful fjord environment sorrounded by dramatic landscape. Flaam and Stegastein Viewpoint are in the vicinity of Aurland. The best way to see the fjord landscape is from above. Spectacular scenary.

We stayed in 2 bed lodge number 3 for 2 nights and had a great stay. The place was clean, well equipped, fantastic views and a short walk into Aurland on the bus route to Flam which was ideal as we were using the railway. We hiked up and down the pedestrian 3.5 km steep route up to Stegastein viewpoint amazing vista of the mountains and Fjord. Would highly recommend our stay to others thank you Lunde Camping.

This hotel felt really special, particularly after the chaos and price-gauging in Flåm. Welcoming and professional staff, calm ambience, fabulous breakfast and spotless room with tea-making facilities included. I was sorry to leave and will use it as my base for my next visit to the area.

The location, the views, the exceptional accommodation and facilites, the quality appliances. 👌 The pictures dont do any justice to the place and to the views. The host even picked us up from Flam and even dropped us back at Aurland Pier!

Great location 10min drive from Flåm and walking distance to Aurland (shops and supermarket). Lovely view of the fjord from the cabin. Kitchen facilities had everything you need. Cabin was comfortable and clean. Lovely stay
