Such a cozy and modern tiny house that hosted our family of four (kids 9 and 12) perfectly! The location was just a few minutes away from the Flam ferry terminal, but felt very secluded in the valley along a rushing river with views of waterfalls and the flamsbana train. The free car charger was appreciated and the beds were very comfortable.

Felt like the cabins were just built. Very fresh, new feel. Gorgeous location by the raging river about 100 meters away, but the windows are multi-layered glass so you don't hear anything at night when you want ro sleep. Total glamping! Loved it!

Aurland is a quiet town with a well-stocked grocery and an excellent bakery. It is not a port of call for the huge Sognefjord cruise ships, so it is not overrun by tourists multiple times a day. By car, the town is 20 minutes from Flåm, 35 minutes from Lærdal via the Lærdalstunnelen (the world's longest road tunnel, at almost 25km), and 2.5 hours from Bergen. A refueling station is located just south of town, off the E-16 roundabout. It offers reasonable prices for electric vehicle charging and petrol/diesel fuel. And, it serves the best homemade soup in the area!

Its a place which has lots of amazing things to do, every corner has a picture perfect view. In the beginning you might feel that 2-3 days are enough but I think you at least need 5 days. Good place to stay, we went to flam and Odda. Going and coming back from Odda was little bit hectic because it was raining heavily, the roads are very small, there are some places where there is only one lane, no two vehicles will fit. so be careful at such road. The nature is amazing, flam station has good food stall, I guess all major street foods.

Wonderful location to celebrate holidays through out the year . Fjords and hike added extra value to the journey . There is a lot to do and view at the place . There is a small supermarket called coop next to the flam station which is helpful to buy necessary items . There are 2 coffee shops at the bus station at Flam . I would not depend on restaurants at Aurland . Flam is only 15 minutes away by car from Aurland, so , it will be a better idea to have food or buy food stuff from Flam ,especially because restaurants are closed after 5-6 in the evening at Aurland in Winter . They say, restaurants are open for longer time during summer . Only problem is public transport . There is not enough public transport facility between Flam and Aurland ,so we had to rely on local taxi services . Lokaltaxi (the name of the taxi service ) was really helpful.

Great location with a fantastic view on the fjord, away from the hustle and bustle of Flam, however, can be slightly tricky to get around, although you just need to book onto the shuttle bus for a small fee in reality, so it's not that big of a deal.

Aurland is a small village situated in a beautiful fjord environment sorrounded by dramatic landscape. Flaam and Stegastein Viewpoint are in the vicinity of Aurland. The best way to see the fjord landscape is from above. Spectacular scenary.

This was probably the most interesting place that we stayed on our trip to Sweden/Norway. It was really a mountain house located away from Flam and Aurland, pretty close to the Stegastein overlook. If you're traveling with a bunch of people or larger family this would be a great match since it sleeps a bunch - 4 BRs I think with kitchen and living room and TV. It's rural, as we needed to close the gate to keep the sheep out, but that added to the charm for us. This place worked out well and was fun for us to stay at.

This place is a real find! We stayed in a cabin on the fjord and it’s honestly the most beautiful place we’ve ever been! We spent three days looking at the view in total awe! Breakfast is absolutely amazing, like going back in time and Aurland is a wonderful little place to stay! Fjord tours and boat in/out of Bergen stops meters away, the sauna is amazing and Marianne’s Bakery is utterly sublime. Stay here and you’ll never forget it!

The owner at the front desk was a lovely person - he gave us a free lift to Aurland town in the rain, also didn’t charge us for 4 sets of linen but 2, and was so friendly. I wasn’t expecting much from the room but it was beautiful, up to date, modern, super clean and warm. I wish I stayed for more. My family really loved their stay and found that to be the best accommodation of their stay. Highly recommend this!
