View is amazing and interior is very well managed. All kitchenware is kept clean, cookware comes in various sizes and there is more,than enough to use. Contactless access is easy. Best place we stayed at during our Norway trip. I booked only one night and everyone wished to stay more. Having a reception nearby is also helpful.

There is a good Resturant with lots of choices of food with a 3 min walk opening from 0900, there is a grocery store nearby also within a 3 min walk. Within 15 min walk you find good bakery and Resturant And beautiful view of the fiords. Best is the clean modern well appointed 2 bedroom unit with a sitting room and modern bathroom with tons of room. It is like living in a hotel suite/presidental suite. Best is the tranquil environment with sound of running water from the river. Staff are extremely helpful.

The staff is really kind and helpful. They serve breakfast which is a great option. The room is spacious and everything about it was fine (it was clean and well-kept). The view is incredible and I recommend staying in this town. Coffee machine/tea/hot water are available at reception :)

The place is beautiful, the views are amazing, very close to a little town that has everything you need. Very friendly staff, a nice room with sufficient space, and super clean. And again, the views are incredible!!! Very good place to stay and relax!

Even though it was a little small - it was perfect for a one night stay! Friendly staff and the bathrooms/showers were close by. Picnic table outside the cabin was a great addition!

    Wonderful location to celebrate holidays through out the...

    Wonderful location to celebrate holidays through out the year . Fjords and hike added extra value to the journey . There is a lot to do and view at the place . There is a small supermarket called coop next to the flam station which is helpful to buy necessary items . There are 2 coffee shops at the bus station at Flam . I would not depend on restaurants at Aurland . Flam is only 15 minutes away by car from Aurland, so , it will be a better idea to have food or buy food stuff from Flam ,especially because restaurants are closed after 5-6 in the evening at Aurland in Winter . They say, restaurants are open for longer time during summer . Only problem is public transport . There is not enough public transport facility between Flam and Aurland ,so we had to rely on local taxi services . Lokaltaxi (the name of the taxi service ) was really helpful.

    Great location with a fantastic view on the fjord, away from the hustle and bustle of Flam, however, can be slightly tricky to get around, although you just need to book onto the shuttle bus for a small fee in reality, so it's not that big of a deal.

    Aurland is a small village situated in a beautiful fjord environment sorrounded by dramatic landscape. Flaam and Stegastein Viewpoint are in the vicinity of Aurland. The best way to see the fjord landscape is from above. Spectacular scenary.

    Aurland was super pretty.

    Aurland was super pretty. Definitely happy then we didn't stay at Flam, the view and town was amazing. There is a fun steep hike to take with a nice cottage along the way. Even though the weather was pretty rainy, we enjoy our stay with a cozy atmospheric mood. Only difficulty was the bus ride from Flam to Aurland, because we weren't sure from where the bus is going and then it came late, so that was a bit stressful. Also we definitely recommend the little Flam bakeri with delicious cinnamon buns!

    Beautiful and loved staying here. Cute town and lots nearby. If you have a car it's so easy to drive between towns and various hiking spots. If you don't you can catch buses or the ferries to get to and from flam. I didn't find this hard in high season with the ferries but the buses were a bit confusing. They seem to run until 7 or so be careful not to miss it. .there's a grocery store that's well equipped, a great bakery and pretty much all you need for a quiet stay.

    It is a nice and comfortable bungalow perfect for 4 people, in our case, a couple with two small kids. However it is within camping, and the bungalow is equipped with a small kitchen, a bathroom, a sofa and a TV, so it is not necessary to use the shared services of the camping. The beds are in a separate room, which is very useful when travelling with small kids. The bungalow has a small porch and table in front of the river, it was very relaxing at night. Aurland and Flam are very close by car.

    The location and view is awesome. It has beautiful mountain and lake view cottages. All the cottages are beautiful. You can lie down in your bed and look at the mountains. The location is much better than hotels in Flåm. Please note it is in Aurland.
