Breakfast was simply amazing, with great options and delicious food. The staff was beyond perfect - they made our stay absolutely perfect in every sense of it. The receptionist who was working on Christmas Eve had the true spirit of hospitality and Christmas and even helped us with our Christmas dinner - meatballs from the supermarket and potatoes from their own breakfast. I'll never forget his extra mile to make our night a bit better.

Location. Price. Breakfast. Room

Everything, especially breakfast and location.

Everything! The room was amazing! It was better than I imagined. The breakfast might be one of the best one I’ve ever had. And the stuff was extremely friendly! The location was 10/10!

Perfect location, incredible breakfast. Nice hotel

The staff are exceptional, pleasant and keen to help. The breakfast we extremely good, best we've had.

Very central location & when we our key demagnetized, we easily fixed it by stopping by their manned desk at a nearby hotel

Centrally located, friendly helpful staff, breakfast was sensational!

This is a charming new hotel located in a fun part of Bergen! I loved the French decor and Edith Piaf and others continuously steaming through cached speakers in the hallways and rooms. The bathrooms had brilliant marble and fun ceiling mirrors. Even with the impressive decor, the staff is what stole the show. Princess was the first to greet us. She answered all our questions, gave us important information about Bergen, shared recommendations, and gave us a packed breakfast for the day we had to leave early for our fjord tour. Joyce, Alexis, Stef, and Paul, also deserve special shout outs. They were professional, accomadating, and excellent at anticipating our needs. They called taxis, prepared packed breakfasts, found seats at the hotel, and just made us feel welcomed. This hotel gets an A++ for its special staff and customer service practices. Finally, it’s an interesting concept that I’ve only seen in movies where the hotel guests can get “taken up” into the busyness and crowds of the brasserie. The Charmante is a hotel but I learned that people are really into the French cuisine & wines at the restaurant. As we came during the Christmas season and within the first 3 months of the hotels opening it was VERY busy with dinner guests— but I loved the buzz. And if some do not like this, they can just go to their rooms— the noise does not follow :-)

This is a cosy little hotel located in a beautiful area close to the city center, at Nordnes. The staff is lovely, and the breakfast is well made. They toasted some gluten free bread for me upon request!

Everything was great, we had a lovely time. Breakfast was very good. Perfect location. Our room was on the 3 floor and it was super quiet. We had an amazing time.
