The place has a lovely private outlook. Parking is up by the owners home but the B&B chalet is set behind and very private. You are invited to sit in the small orchard next to the property and even pick fruit if in season. You have views of the ocean and we listened to this during the night. Continental breakfast was provided and it was lovely. The bathroom is private however in a small building next door to the chalet... all worked out well and we had a very comfortable night here

It felt like a home away from home — so cozy, clean and comfortable. The staff are amazing, especially Caroline, the manager. She made sure we had everything we needed for our Christmas BBQ and was just so accommodating and welcoming. The cleaning crew were also amazing and friendly. Then there’s the beach! Beautiful Wainui beach is a two minute walk away.

Great town my sister has a gift shop down peel street very nice place have other whanau there as well caugt up with them wheather was orsum went threw to te puia springs had a look around then down to waipiro bay where our home stead is to see my mum dad and sister lie on our land orsum wheather my brother takes care of the house and land had a catch up with him before returning back to Gisborne for the night with my grandson orsum trip then returned to napier my grandson absolutely enjoyed his trip and enjoyed his stay at the motel went 4 a swim late at night to much thank you

Gisborne is a lovely place to visit.

Gisborne is a lovely place to visit. Had a wonderful meal at the Gisborne Cossie Club, value for money. People very friendly. Went for a drive up to Kaiti Hill. Went out to Okitu beautiful spot. Definitely will go back.

Lovely place to go when the weather is good.

Lovely place to go when the weather is good. A really good selection of beaches to choose from. Restaurant selection is surprisingly good for a mid sized NZ town. Nice saturday farmers market is a real treat and the wineries in the district are the icing on the cake. Great place to go for those who are into surfing and surf related activities.

I like how everything is all in a near by distance from the motel we stayed at and also the food around the area were delicious. I don't like how everything is closed at 10pm, I went out to buy some coke and some snacks and nothing was open. But other than that I loved my stay here in Gisborne. I would definitely recommend this town/city to anyone who is traveling on a short or long trip.

The first city in the world 🌎 to see the sunrise and has beautiful beaches to swim.This city is family orientated and the lifestyle here is relaxed mode. The people here enjoy the hunting and diving/ fishing experience (kai gathering).Also alot of agricultural/ horticulture revolves here as well. There is also a lot of farming sheep & cattle here on the east coast and definitely comes with a beautiful coastline to drive and enjoy 💯👌 Highway 35... Stay blessed 🙌 enjoy your everyday 🙏

Warm and friendly, lots of cafes, get out on to the board...

Warm and friendly, lots of cafes, get out on to the board walk for an easy walk or take the Titirangi hill/maunga walk for a bit more of a challenge. DO make sure you greet and talk to people. Lots to see and do. PBC make the best hashbrowns and all day breakfasts.

Luxurious, Quality, Modern, An absolutely beautiful home. Everything we needed was available. Spacious, comfortable and safe for our whanau. Beds are 5 star Hotel "standard", showers are heavenly (more than ample supply of fluffy towels) ... and then there's the pool!! excellent for the kids and big kids alike. Highly recommend this lovely home.
