Set 984 feet from Oneroa Beach, The Oyster Inn features rooms with free luggage storage. Amazing petit hotel in the heart of Onera. Loved our amenities, breakfast (exceptionally delicious start to the day). The bed was comfortable, the room bright and light. We didn't have a view but no worries because you step out of the inn and restaurants, bars, shops are at your leisure.
Featuring sea views and a stylish interior, this adult only property is just a 3-minute walk to multiple beaches. Black Boutique offers free WiFi and parking. The hosts provided generous snack and drink amenities on the house. There was a feeling of true caring by the hosts and a willingness to accommodate the guests. We will definitely recommend this place.
Located in Oneroa in the Waiheke Island region and Cable Bay Vineyard reachable within 1.5 miles, Waiheke Island Punga Lodge provides accommodations with free WiFi, BBQ facilities, a garden and free... lovely friendly helpful staff :). Yummy afternoon tea. Comfortable and cute.
Featuring garden views, Aqua-Wai has accommodations with a patio and an electric tea pot, around 1.9 miles from Mudbrick Restaurant & Vineyard. Location was great, only a few minutes to oneroa village. the room was well appointed. the host gave us really good recommendations on wineries to visit.
There are plenty of restaurants, cafes, art galleries, gift shops, clothing stores all within walking distance of beaches and accommodations, with frequent bus service and available cabs. It is close to the ferry. We ate at Fenice, Zenzero, Wai Cafe, Mudbrick Archive, Casita Miro and Islsnd Gelato.
Get a taxi from the ferry to where you are staying. There are a lot of hills and the roads are only chip sealed. It makes dragging a rolling suitcase difficult. The bus drivers are not helpful so know which bus and which stop you need to be on. If you get off on the wrong stop, just walk across the street to the stop going the other direction, don't try to walk to the last stop or take a walking trail. The stops are farther apart rhan they look and the walking trails are not labeled completely and you will get lost in neighborhoods. Blackpool is awesome during low tide. See the tide pools and collect your own clams for dinner, there is no need to spend $20 on them at the seafood market. Be prepared for rain every afternoon during the summer but it doesn't last long. The shops are open for "island hours" so they open late and close early. Little Frog cafe is a great breakfast stop.
The views are spectacular from Cable Bay winery and a few other locations. It is a location for those that love to go to wineries. If wineries are not what you like to do then there little else to do.
Beautiful views and people!! I was able to catch a ride from the kind people to get to EcoZip Adventures and then to Batch Vineyards and back to Oneroa Village. I spent all day just talking to the locals and learning more about them and their lifestyle. Plus all their showers are rainwater twice filtered!! My hair never felt so good!
The bus system doesn't reach all vineyards, so if you're staying on the island for the night without a car it is a bit challenging to go to the different vineyards besides calling a cab or hiring a car upon arrival. Wish we could've stayed longer to enjoy the island!
Oneroa is a wonderful little town on Waiheke Island - fantastic small town feel, great views across the island, wonderful beach view restaurants and bars. Waiheke Island is definitely worth the visit. Highly recommend a stay at Kiwi House B&B.

We had a lovely time at blackbird. Mark and Maria were great hosts and willing to go out of their way to pick us up and drop us off to the ferry. Blackbird is in a great location. A quiet part of Oneroa and only a 5 min walk to beautiful little Oneroa beach and 10 min walk into town . Lovely water views is a bonus. The apartment has everything you need for a short stay with lots of nice touches and a very comfortable bed . Would highly recommend

I had a wonderful stay at the Kiwi House Waiheke. The place is super cute, cozy and clean. It has that beach house vibe that puts you in an instant holiday mode. It’s close to the restaurants in Oneroa but not in the center. It was the perfect location to start my 2 day exploration of Waiheke from. I would def. stay here again!

Pete and Caroline go out of their way to make your stay at Marino Ridge very comfortable and treat you like family. Everything was perfect from the accommodations, views, food and service. An extra treat is being able to enjoy their two beautiful poodles Fabio and Libby. We hope to be back soon!

Lovely studio with sensational views. The property isn’t overly sign posted so you do need to watch out for the driveway to get access. Would definitely come back.
