Located in Oneroa in the Waiheke Island region and Little Oneroa Beach reachable within a 4-minute walk, Waiheke Island Punga Lodge provides accommodations with free WiFi, BBQ facilities, a garden and... Loved everything. Lovely owners, exceptional service, lovely and clean and peaceful, private surroundings and great baking.
Waiheke Island Tawa Lodge offers accommodations just 984 feet from Little Oneora Beach and 0.6 mi from Oneroa village. We loved staying at Tawa Lodge! The house was wonderful - even better than expected. It was very spacious, comfortable, had amazing views (on 2 sides), an in an excellent location. We explored Waiheke on foot (and bus) and staying at Tawa Lodge, we were within a few minutes from the beach, bus stop, town centre and walking tracks. Communications with the hosts were great, and we felt very well taken care of. We will definitely be back!
Featuring a balcony with sea views, free bikes and a terrace, Four Huia can be found in Oneroa, close to Oneroa Beach and 500 yards from Little Oneroa Beach. Cereal provided and lots of other treats. Host put so much care into providing something for every taste. I especially loved the range of books she provided and the little notes around the place.
Wild Thyme is located a 15-minute walk from Oneroa Village and a 35 minute ferry ride from downtown Auckland. Free WiFi and free private parking are available. We had high expectations after looking at the dreamy pictures on Booking.com, but the view really was as amazing as it seems. Bruce and Jules are wonderful hosts! Everything we needed was provided, there was even a bag with beach mats and towels!
Set just a 4-minute walk from the beach, Villa Eleven is a refurbished, modern apartment featuring partial views of Oneroa Bay. Free WiFi and free private parking are provided. This is our second stay at Oneroa Bay Villas. Once again we found it perfect location and the Villa has every thing needed for a nice relaxed stay. I had a self made problem with the tv and sky and rang Tracy and no trouble, she sorted it out. Thanks again Tracy and thanks for the delicious chocolate bar you left us. Until next time 😊 Col & Rex
Charming small main town on Waiheke Island. V good bus service and is served by 2 ferry likes to Auckland. There are several excellent restaurants and many wonderful wineries on the island, which we recommend. The locals are friendly and helpful. We have stayed in Oneroa several times and always look forward to returning. It is not a cheap destination.
loved everything about Oneroa, the wine, the restaurants the beach. It is a great place to come for a relaxing holiday. Would recommend to anyone wanting a break from the stresses of day to day living. And so close to Auckland, just 40 mins by ferry.
I stayed at Wild Thyme it was a great place to stay not far from shops and restaurants etc. I took my car over to the island glad I did made it easy for getting around, you can get hire cars if you want
Great place to visit, lots to do & see. Earlier in the week a number of places closed due to Covid as they can't get the staff. Closer to the weekend more places open. Enjoyed lots of Cellar Door tastings & took lots of wine home to stock our cellar.
nice village, bigger than I had realised from internet/brochures. 1st time visit. Variety of shops - food & clothes & souvenirs, Not just for tourists but locals too. easy to get about on foot. very near beach & sea. Plenty nice restaurants - good variety of food choices. nearby wineries i did not get to.
Charming village with excellent cafes and boutique style shops. Overlooks the beautiful Oneroa beach. Great access by bus from Matiatia ferry. Would particularly recommend the Oyster Inn for dinner and Ak Ito ( specialising in vegan eats) for cafe food.
The location was fantastic and the accommodation was reasonably priced, clean, modern and had everything I needed. Close to ferry and Oneroa village shops, restaurants, cafes and beach. Heidi was a lovely, friendly and helpful host. The extra touches; chocolate, tea and coffee etc were really appreciated and her restaurant recommendations were spot on. Loved the 'Courtyard' and 'Fenice' dining experience.
After staying in many other places in waiheke this is by far one of the best. Just a short bus ride from the ferry terminal. On the edge of Oneroa village which is perfect to access the beautiful shops and restaurants. Bus stop right outside. The place has everything you need and is extremely comfortable with lovely views.
Oh so good ‘Oyster Inn’ Perfect place to stay in Wonderful Waiheke Bed Beautiful Blissful Big Bathroom Food Fabulous & Breakfast included Staff superb thanks Sophie Location could not be better Close to Beach-shops-cafe’s-buses and the ambience of Island life. We will definitely be back Sometime soon 😊
Exactly as shown on the pictures. The bed rooms are very spacious. All Sheets and Pillows are comfortable with everything you needed from a normal 5 start hotels. The main bath room is very spacious too with plenty of towels :) Super Clean and I like the interior home décor
Really cute place with a nice view. 2 nice sitting areas outside. It's close to beaches and has 2 entrances from either the main road or the road behind. In the mornings you could hear all the native birdlife when you stepped outside.
Everything was perfect.. we cannot thank Heather and Alastair enough for their attentive and friendly assistance during our 4 night stay.. located on the edge of the village.. it is a stones throw to the shops via a lovely beach walk..
