It was such a lovely atmosphere and the staff really cared about us. Every morning they prepared fresh and super delicious breakfast for us for just a minimum fee. Set on a coffee plantation, this boutique hotel offers a gourmet restaurant and luxurious rooms with spectacular views of the surrounding gardens, rainforest and mountains. The room was very clean and situated with a lovely view of the flower garden. This is an exceptional place and then, the restaurant was more than we expected. The food was delicious. The reception booked our coffee plantation tour with a very knowledgeable guide. We also enjoyed an afternoon excursion with "Guameru Company" to the top of the volcano. The road is awful but the car was fully equipped to handle the road that looked like a washed out river bed. The driver (Adrian) was very skilled and experienced in managing the road. The guide (Jonathon) was excellent.
Located in Volcán, Hospedaje Rampolla's provides a garden. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Location is great. I dont like to be on the main intersection so i like that this place was about a 5 minute walk in from the main street. The hosts are great people. Very giving and willing to go the extra mile if possible. They gave me details about things i could do during my stay. Its highly convenient that you can order all your meals from the owner who will cook from their small restaurant on the property at super inexpensive prices.
We went there to visit the hot springs(pozzo termales) outside Vulcan. They are located 8.5 K from the town of Vulcan on the road to Rio Sereno. There is a sign on the highway for the turnoff.Dont even consider going there without a 4x4. It took 1 1/2 hours to go 7 K.It is literally driving on a dried up river bed. Nice small hot spring but tiny biting flies. You can also jump in the river to cool off.
Very peaceful and relaxing place. Full of nature and cool things to do. We enjoyed visiting the strawberry farm, tasting local bakery goods and the cool weather. Must visit Finca Dracula, great experience!
Cerró punta is wonderful The place and its location are wonderful The building needs a lot of new additions and serious repairs The person in charge is extremely resourceful and kind but he is not the owner
We've been going to Cerro Punta since I was a kid! We love exploring the town and eating strawberries everything! This time we went to Haras Cerro Punta and did their tour, it was very interesting and we had a great time!
There are several activities for adults, not so much for kids. The food is very good, the strawberries with ice cream are awesome and people pretty friendly. Depending on the climate and distances you'll need at least 5 days to do it all.
They only have small places to eat strawberries. No restaurants near by. You have to go to volcans rest mana or casa redonda (this two are very good rest). Is more like a 100% farm town. For tourism is better boquete.
