United StatesReally a gem of a hotel. Perfect beach on which the hotel sits. Gorgeous location. Manager Jennifer deserves a special mention. All of the staff were excellent (polite and efficient) and made the stay so good that we barely left the hotel in 5 days. The restaurant was truly good for a small hotel. Great food every day.

I ordered some meals and they were delicious.
The host's and her staff are quite good at cooking and making guest feel at home as they always pay attention to small but important details.
It's quite easy to get to the accommodation from the airport by taxi or from Tumbes by vans.
Some of the nice activities for Travellers is to walk around the dock which is near the accommodation and try out the local food as well.

We enjoyed our visit very much. Big shout out to the staff for going above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. I didn’t experience the kayaking due to timing. The hotel was clean, food was lovely and the bed super comfortable. We Highly recommend this hotel

The best place to eat was at the resort's restaurant.
The best place to eat was at the resort's restaurant. They had a large enough menu that I was comfortable with my choices every lunch and dinner for a week. After one week we would have had to request some specials from the chef to change it up a bit. The area is famous for its chifles, which was perfect and fresh every day. Getting around was not easy, so we only left the property twice in the week. Máncora is a good destination for accessories shopping and ok for restaurants. Canoas de Punta Sal is very small with two pharmacies and a supermarket and not much more. If one likes nature and does not need to have to go to town every day, this place is perfect. It is not for going to museums and shopping or to bars and discos. We relaxed and came back refreshed. I also forgot to mention in my previous review of the Punta del Norte Bungalows that we got an automatic upgrade when we arrived.

Quiet, calm sandy beach.
Quiet, calm sandy beach. Not too crowded, quiet and great for scenery pictures.
Not easy to get there though, nor to get around to other beaches or towns if you don't have a car or a motorcycle.
There is a lack of other activities apart from the beach, no community life present, most houses are for rent and are empty for the most part.
Some restaurants are open but are expensive, it is cheaper to buy your supplies and cook.

The room had an amazing location right on the beach. The deck right outside the room was very comfortable and private with the curtains drawn.
The whole staff was extremely welcoming, friendly and professional.
The food at the restaurant was delicious, and the menu varied enough that we ate a different plate for every meal for 4 days.
The size of the hotel created a very intimate environment, where it was always quiet and peaceful. and amazing relaxing experience all around.

The place is great, with pool, beach volley and relaxing area. The room is huge (so huge that I think you can do more with it for the one double bed room). Access to great beach. Very helpful employee. Nice and tasty restaurant 2min walking.
Even with high tide and extraordinary waves, the beach and hotel felt very safe.
When there was a problem with the electricity in the whole 5 had a generator for basic utility.

The property is beautiful with a great beach and ocean (great waves!). The grounds/gardens are meticulously cared for and the staff are super attentive! The food was tasty and for all 3 meals and good size portions. A little piece of paradise, very very tranquil and quiet, which is what we were looking! Although about 1.5hr from Tumbes airport, the hotel set up a private transfer that was on time and very comfortable.

We had a wonderful recent stay at the bungalows. The kids loved the pool and the games room along with the access to the beach. The service from all staff especially Darwin, Rosa and Estrella was exceptional. The food was great and the daily breakfast was delicious. We would highly recommend staying at Punta del Norte Bungalows!
