Best food I've had at any of the accommodations in Perú! Sra. Editha is a great cook and friendly host. I loved seeing the wide range of rescued orchids - a complete surprise. The staff connected me with a great guide!

Right at the trailhead to Gocta waterfall which is stunning Solar showers,so hot water 24/7,plus an excellent WiFi connection.You wont find a better place.

We had a wonderful experience staying at Casa de Mario. The location is perfect, right on the hiking trail to Gocta waterfall, with a beautiful view of the falls from the property. The village is quiet and peaceful, surrounded by nature. Mario is an exceptional host — he knows everything about the area and made us feel completely at home. He even made us a delicious homemade pizza with a purple corn crust — everything organic and full of flavor. We saw hummingbirds in the garden and many other beautiful birds around the property. It’s a great spot for bird lovers and nature lovers in general. If you’re coming to Cocachimba, don’t hesitate — Casa de Mario is the perfect place to stay!

Incredible location with front view of Gocta waterfall. Small and quiet lodge, perfect for families with children, either if used as a base to explore the region or to spend some afternoons lazing off. Breakfast and dinners amazing: Mafe was an incredible host, always keen on keeping our children satisfied. The natural pool was also very fun, and the sauna with the view perfect for after long treks.

Amazing property, waterfalls views, host, and service. We loved our stay. The host has obviously invested in amenities, construction of the lodges, and employs very caring and kind staff. We loved waking up every morning looking at the waterfall and eating all our home cooked and local meals. We would stay again 100%. I was so disappointed we spent only one night. Sergio and Jana operate a world class retreat. Service was beyond exceptional. Jana paid attention to every detail. She organized every single part of the trip and made sure that all of our needs were met. Sergio was creative, engaging, super helpful with any of our plans and made sure that our retreat was at one with nature. There is the option to have your dinner prepared there and I would recommend it to anyone. All of the food is farm to table and much was grown on site. There are parrots that are outside the window in the morning and it is a terrific place to relax. Much of the art and ceramics were made by the hosts. They are high-quality and for those of you who can carry some home, you should. The rooms were perfectly appointed and I now want to bring my family there for an extended stay.
