Mario and his wife were wonderful hosts! The rooms were clean and the water was hot. Mario greeted us at the port and walked us to his home. Excellent location close to the center where lunch is served daily. Mario made us nice breakfast and dinner daily. Great location to walk and enjoy the scenery.

Our host Anna Julia was wonderful. The meals she prepared (separate from the overnight booking) were delicious. The accommodations are rustic, but if you are looking for a way to experience Taquile Island and interact with a lovely family this is the place for you!

Sat on the shores of the lake, the property offered beautiful views and sunsets. There is a mix of buildings for both rooms as well as serving breakfast and dinner. The real hidden gem was Guido, Sarah and their children who were delightful. We were able to engage in several activities, such as harvesting and thrashing quinoa that made it unique and educational.
