We spent two days in the hotel and it was perfect. The hosts are very kind and helpfull, breakfast very good and location perfect to go to condors miradors before the tourists buses. Highly recommended

The hotel is in a secluded area in the Colca Canyon, very peaceful and with stunning views of the mountains. The casitas are small villas, each with a private exterior hot tub, tastefully decorated and fully comfortable. The valley-view casitas offer more privacy than garden-view. The staff is very cordial and efficient, always taking care of guests (e.g., we needed oxygen and they provided it promptly). We stayed 4 nights and it was perfect to relax, disconnect and enjoy the property.

The room was very comfortable, spacious and cozy with a dining table and two chairs, private bathroom with shower. The room was quite cold, but there were warm blankets. The only serious disadvantage is the lack of mosquito nets and despite of the cold weather there are plenty of mosquitos. Breakfast is scrambled eggs with tea, jam, mango juice and coffee americano. There is free parking available and tea and coffee at reception as a compliment to hotel guests.

Yanque is a quaint hamlet nestled in the spectacular, and I...

Yanque is a quaint hamlet nestled in the spectacular, and I do mean spectacular, Colca Valley. There's several hikes you can do from the hamlet to other villages, to the archaelogical site of Uyo-Uyo and Chimpa Fortress, and there's hot springs as well. It's much smaller than Chivay, and it's also closer, I believe, to more hikes than Chivay. We ate a delicious lunch at the Colca Cafe. We hiked up to Chimpa Fortress and then walked three miles from the trailhead to Madrigal (via the country road).

The rooms are quite new, the staff is very friendly and give a lot of information, if you have some questions (in spanish). You can walk to the Main square in 3 minutes and find some restaurant there (do not expect too much from Yanque, is a small village). The view on the mountains from the room is just magic. Hot water all day long, breakfast is standard as in every place in this area. We highly recommend this place!

The staff were really excellent, especially Dennis and Andrea, but the others as well! I really appreciated them starting and maintaining the hanging fireplaces in the main communal area, the room service, answering all of my questions, helping me arrange a tour, etc. The hotel’s views are delightful; I really enjoyed the gas fireplaces, which really did warm up the room, and the jacuzzi.

Beautiful hotel in a dreamy setting. Food was incredible, the spa was the best I’ve been to, all staff members super helpful and nice. A fee complimentary activities such as pisco sour lesson and feeding alpacas were great to have. The size of the room, the cleanliness and attention to detail top notch!
