Absolutely beautiful hotel with fantastic staff such as Junelyn on reception and Diane, who works in the restaurant/bar. My room extremely comfortable and cool. Great air-conditioning. Cold showers but who needs hot showers when it is so hot outside. Delicious food. For a small community like Caticlan this hotel is an oasis. Near the airport and a couple hundred meters to the boat port for Boracay.

It is so central and such a quiet little lane.. a few minutes walk to the beach. And the Staff was the best part of our stay.. Dannika, Mark, Carlos, oh I wish I could remember everyone’s names.. all you girls gave us a beautiful greeting every time we walked in and out.. smiles.. Thank you for being so lovely to us . Breakfast - The breakfast buffet had quality options that would suit both eastern and western palattes. The eastern dishes, fruit and juices change daily which is nice. Shout out to the staff for making great coffee and omelettes how we prefer them. Facilities - 2 separate pools - one right in front of Bulabog beach with a bar and music, and a main pool in the middle of the property - well maintained, clean and lots of lounge chairs, with outdoor poolside showers to rinse off. Gym is decently sized, clean and had all the equipment necessary for a quick pump or cardio session. Rooms - spacious, modern, large fridge, comes with kitchen space and living room separate from bedroom - thoroughly enjoyed our room even though we barely spent time in there as Boracay had a lot to do and see with a 3 night stay. Nothing to fault here. Shuttle - great service from Aqua to DMall and back. Stressfree transport service from MPH to Aqua and back. Location - located on the eastern side of the island, Aqua resort was perfectly located for us. There is beachfront access a few metres across the road to Bulabog Beach which is always manned by hotel security. The best part about this is that you can wake up to easily catch the sunrise at Bulabog Beach with 0 crowd which was easily as beautiful as sunset on Puka or White sand or Diniwid. Aqua is also centrally located, with DMall and quality restaurants being a short 5-10 minute walk depending on speed. Staff - Staff were super helpful and accommodating from beginning to end. From MPH airport, to the pier and boat crew, the Qtchn staff, the security, front desk, shuttle drivers, and people who help maintain the stunning beach front property, everyone made us feel welcome and at ease. Staff were happy to provide recommendations and personal anecdotes which were appreciated and handled any and all of our requests like extra toilet paper, beach towels etc without a second thought.

A special thanks to Mr.Dan for his professional, genuine, and very kind hospitality. We had some issues with 3rd party logistics service provider and Mr Dan was very prompt to take all the actions and made our stay as great as possible. Thank you! Staff is always smiling and welcoming. Security is always on duty and its very safe. Breakfast is very yummy and special thanks to Mr Mico for his great service in the restaurant. He was always attentive and very quick. Wifi and tv works well. Improvement for housekeeping as he had started cleaning and vacuuming the upper floor at 6:30 am, but he immediately stopped when i walked upstairs.

Lovely place to stay in Boracay, away from the crowds! It looks like a little oasis in the middle of Boracay. Conveniently located between white beach and Bulabog, and it’s easy to reach both. The room is very big with a nice balcony into a green and dense garden! The restaurant is the best in town, and it has very nice options for breakfast also. Luigi is so nice that you really feel at home and the best chef in the island. We will stay here again when we come back to Boracay.

    Caticlan is a small community mostly used for by travelers to ferry between the mainland and Boracay. If you so happen to stay longer then there are tours into the hills. At the Port there is a bank, 7/11, pharmacy and many other stores. Also a high volume of security personnel. Very safe place. To get around you can walk like I did or take a trike for virtually no cost. (There is a cost obviously).

    I stayed here because I had an early flight out the next day. The other option was to cross the channel and get a room in Boracay Island which would mean paying more for boat fees, terminal fees, and environmental fees. There are few options in Caticlan. This, by far was the best.

    The staff, cabana king room, and facilities (pool and bar) were incredible. The food coming out of the kitchen was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend UNWND! We stayed for 1 night before flying out of Caticlan Airport. It was so enjoyable that we could’ve stayed longer.

    We only spent one night here on our way to Boracay. The staff was very kind and helpful! Breakfast was great. The hotel is very close to the airport. It’s modern and very beautiful! I recommend it!
