It was beautiful and peaceful! It was perfect distance from the hustle and bustle from the down town but still okay distance to take a trike to go out for dinner in the evening.

Coron is a port town for boat trips to the various nearby islands and beaches which are all beautiful and a must do if you are in Coron. Quite simply, there is no point going to Coron if you don't do at least one boat trip. Coron town itself has lots of places to eat and a few simple shops but no big shopping centres. The town is in disrepair and the road infrastructure is under developed.

It is not as great as advertised.
It is not as great as advertised. Overcrowding on all beaches, tour boats and lagoons! Busy, noisy and dirty town, a noticable apathy towards caucasian tourists. No pretty beaches easily accessible on the main island.
The Overcrowding ruined the attractions - there are beautiful beaches and scenery, stunning but for all the tourists!

Nice boat rides and tours out - but it can get expensive.
Nice boat rides and tours out - but it can get expensive.
You're not right on the beach, as you would be, if you were at Boracay for example - so sometimes, it feels like a mission and costly to explore this island. Nice waters, for snorkeling; small little 'hikes' up to mountain or lake; and nice hot springs. But it's not the "best" I've seen of the Philippines. Tuktuk guys will offer you a ride to firefly viewing - even when it is off peak season and there isn't much to see. Everyone on this island is just trying to make a living off of the tourists, so get to know your prices (make comparisons) before you buy into it.

If you come only for shipwrecks diving, Coron is definitely the place - but I was not impressed by the coral reefs and biodiversity in general. Consider Raja Ampat as alternative destination if you are not obsessed with shipwrecks. Coron town itself is a little ugly and dirty town but there are plenty of very good restaurants (owned unfortunately mainly by Europenas/Australians) where the food and service is excellent and absolutely surprising. Unfortunately, those are also the places where you find all and "only" the tourists. Coron is an experience - not a lot of culture, not a lot of sightseeing, but it's a gateway to beautiful waters. The hopping-island tours are terrible! They try to fit 20-25 people per boat - try to organize your private boat, it is absolutely worth the money! We enjoyed the day and the service provided.

The Islands around are amazing and it worth a visit.
Unfortunately the tours they offered are all a bit Rushy, not enough time to chill and enjoy each of the stops.

You should be physically fit before you go to Coron because there is a lot of hiking and climbing, but it is all worth it. The biew is spectacular and the experience is great. Fro the hotel staff, to the boats man and tour guide that we had. Thank you Coron. When you go there try to space out your activities. Like one day destination trips the next day rest
Lovely relaxing private island resort. The staff were so friendly. We stayed 2 nights and stayed in the resort the whole time. The boat will take you across to coron town anytime you like if you want to go out. We really enjoyed the swimming pool the photos do not show how beautiful it really was. Stunning sunsets on the dock.
We ate both evenings in the restaurant and the food was great. We had nice cocktails and played pool. The perfect get away and a very relaxing beautiful space full of wildlife and birdsong.
We loved the hospitality of the personnel, they were always willing to help and had a smile for you. The hotel included a free taxi service and the driver could pick you up wherever you were in town super quick. The hotel is located a bit uphill but with the taxi service it is very comfortable to get there and it has the great advantage of giving you peaceful and quiet nights, which many hotels in Coron cannot claim since it is a very busy town.
The rooms are gorgeous and big. The service is really good. It’s a very short and cheap ride to the centre of town. The atmosphere of the hotel is really chilled and cool with both pools not very crowded and good
music throughout. Perfect place to stay to relax and explore the island.
Unparalled location and service. 10mins kayak away from twin lagoon. Rooms are perfect for relaxing and the lagoon which the houseboats are in is just perfect. Would never think of booking anywhere else if back in Coron or Palawan. Worth every penny.
Location of the hotel was great (less than 10 mn to go to city center by walk), very nice staff (smiley and helpful), rooms were confortable, clean and quiet.
I recommand this hotel to discover the amazing Coron Islands
