The hotel was perfect for a 5 day break in Portugal, located in the countryside it has spectacular views around the surrounding area, over treetops, woodland and you can see to the sea. The staff are very attentive and helpful, the hotel is very clean and tidy and the pool area is perfect. I had a car for the stay and was able to travel to Porto and Braga with relative ease. I would highly recommend the hotel, it was a thoroughly pleasant experience.

Lovely, small hotel. Modern, well equipped room with good en-suite shower room. Fast internet. Good buffet breakfast. Staff really friendly and helpful. Good location, quiet, about 10 minute walk to the beach, road not the best for walking, but not bad.

The seafront area, filled with a variety of restaurants and bars is a 4-minute walk away. Hotel Avenida is a 6-minute walk from the Póvoa Casino.

Nice view from the balcony. Bathroom is new with great water pressure. Fruits always available at the breakfast area. All spaces of a good size, and smartly used. Comparing to other hotels in that area I would rate this one higher than 2 stars.
