Our stay at this property was lovely. The house is very nice, clean and equipped with everything that you need. The room from the attic is very nice and our kid enjoyed this space. The garden is very large and our dog enjoyed the freedom in this space. I will definitely recommend this location.

    Excellent work of the staff, pastoral view, perfect breakfast, wonderful location, spacious rooms - all this made our stay memorable. Exceptionally tasty and hearty food at the hotel's restaurant - warmly recommended! Our special appreciation to the waitress at the restaurant: without speaking English, she did her best to understand us and recommended the best dishes. It was very delightful dinner. She really did a great job!

    This was a modest hotel, with adequate facilities. Located at the Southern end of the Transfagarasan highway, it is a good start - or end - point of that thrilling journey through the mountans. It is also handy for the Poienari Citadel, perched high above the river - unfortunately currently (Oct 2024) closed.
