The actual town was a disappointment but visiting the old...

The actual town was a disappointment but visiting the old industrial complex Gammelgården (within walking distance), the Flogbergets mine (12 minutes drive), and the sunset on Väsman lake made up for that. Ludvika is probably a good base for doing half-day or day trips to other towns.

Very central in Dalarna, Sweden, the summer holliday-place...

Very central in Dalarna, Sweden, the summer holliday-place for many Swedes. Nice restaurants and cosy cafeterias around - also in neighbouring cities. You ar in the middle of lots of Swedish industrial historically significant places. Many of them is World Heritage! rent a car/or come here by your own car in order to travel a bit around Dalarna.

I really liked the interior design of the entire hotel, so...

I really liked the interior design of the entire hotel, so cozy and nice. The only thing that was "a little" bad, although nothing to complain about, was that the pillow was a little too high. But absolutely wonderful, highly recommended to stay at!

Has everything you could want.

Has everything you could want. Nice host couple, nice rooms, good breakfast, public areas with coffee and cake, plus the location in the middle of town, there is nothing more to wish for. Homely, warm, cozy, fresh hotel. So satisfied, will definitely come back.

Had no idea about Ludvika, was pleasantly surprised by the...

Had no idea about Ludvika, was pleasantly surprised by the cozy small town feel and the proximity to water...after all, Dalarna is always Dalarna!!! even if you are in the southern part.

Good city for relaxation! Child-friendly! A little too few activities for children, maybe corona has affected this....Eco museum poor with information and guidance! Excellent sushi place,,Esa Sushibar,,. Easy to get around both by car and on foot!

I definitely love the decorating of the hotel! Looks so cozy and beautiful. Also this was the first hotel I slept the whole night through without any problems. Comfiest pillows ever! Also the mini fridge in the room was a big plus! Breakfast was also good and made us very happy and full.
