Had a great stay. Was introduced to a fantastic guide (Fernando Bragança) who made my trip very enjoyable and is highly recommended. All Mucumbli staff members I met were super friendly and extremely helpful. The sunsets from the balcony of my room were extraordindary. A short walk leads to the beach and shoreline which is wonderful to explore. The staff were very helpful with my luggage transfer as well and went above and beyond expectations. I'm quite sure I will be back at Mucumbli and am looking forward to it.

Highly recommend. I was picked up from the airport. The hospitality was top tier. I enjoyed the pool and the proximity to the airport.

We fully recommend Omali!!! Everything exceeded our expectations. We had an issue with our room, and the staff in charge dealt with the situation within minutes. They gave us a different room, which was more than perfect. Our experience was excellent. Food and drinks were alsofive5 stars. We could use our Visa card for the payments there. Thank you ever so much for having us. We are coming back.

We enjoyed our last two days in São Tomé at Hotel Praia. We had stayed there already a night prior to our journey to the island of Rolas. It was nice to back in civilization after our Rolas trip. Nice to have everything functioning and working well. Great shower, nice bed, everything clean! The front desk personnel was very friendly and accommodating (especially Mr Helder, who, amongst other things, took care of our taxi requests). The salt-water pool is nice and big. Great to be so close to the airport. The restaurant serves a great free breakfast and dinners were good, too. We would go back there!

The rooms and spacious and clean, with nice en-suite bathroom. We were able to exchange some euros into dobras as well, which was very handy! There was also a delicious breakfast for us the next morning, with fresh bread, fruits, eggs and butter and delicious coffee and tea.

Clean tile floors. Delicious European style breakfast with sliced meat and sliced cheese. Friendly staff. 2 minutes walk from airport front door is the ideal location.

I have stayed 2 nights on the 1 bed bungalow + 4 nights on the 2 bed bungalow: this review will be about both of these to avoid duplicate reviews. About the bungalows: - The bungalows are absolutely beautiful, very well cleaned, beautifully decorated. Mattress and pillows were super comfortable, as well as quality of the sheets. And bonus points - only accommodation in Sao Tome I found a duvet!!! Most places have just a small blanket but nothing beats a proper duvet for someone like me who always gets cold at night. - It has a mini fridge, a TV, hot water with good pressure, quality towels, a hammock and sofas outside to chill. Honestly, this is top quality accommodation, especially for the cost. About the property: - The staff are super kind and helpful and made me feel very looked after <3 and the owner Erikson was always available through whatsapp ready to send tips, ask how things are going, etc also super accommodating with doing late check out since my flights was not before 10pm. - Their menu is really amazing, and they have proper vegetarian meals!!! It's amazing to feel that vegetarian meals are not just an afterthought. The desserts were also absolutely spectacular (that passionfruit mousse... to die for). And the omelette they made for lunch was exquisite, other locations should learn from them on how to make an omelette dish that is actually good, not oily, balanced and super tasty. - The waterfall that can be heard from anywhere in the property is yet another amazing selling point. You can hike to see it up close! - I enjoyed the pool and the pond next to it, with fish and turtles! Even if turtles were a bit shy. Nice place to refresh after a day out. - And last but not least, Jeff, the ginger cat. He's such a lovely kitty!!! As a crazy cat lady this was definitely one of the best things (I often look for cat references in reviews so leaving this one for other crazy cat people like myself :)) Overall top notch accommodation in Sao Tome!

The people and the service were wonderful. the food was beyond excellent—locally grown and caught and skillfully prepared. Amazing location with views from the mountain down to the sea. Lush tropical foliage and beautiful gardens. Our guest rooms each had a terrace with chairs and a table looking to the east making for amazing sunrises. We loved the art and decorations in the rooms, the shutters which kept the insects and the light (when we didn’t want it out). big windows provided excellent views. Excellent wifi.
