Patong beach is nice. It's a party place. Seems to be pretty safe. Lots of people selling and renting lots of things. Not a quiet getaway place but a great place to see the nightlife and it is a good place for swimming. The beach has no public bathroom facilities and most places will charge ten to twenty baht for bathroom usage. I love Patong Beach, the soft sand, the warm water. I enjoy the vibe from the masseuse, the fireworks displays, the dancing in the evening and the Jungceylon Mall. Not to mention the kick boxing. It's easy to get around Patong. A favorite eatery was Dang.Guest review byFelicity - 8.0

I was really looking forward to visiting Patong Beach, but unfortunately, I found it quite disappointing. The beach was very crowded and not as clean as I had hoped. There was quite a bit of litter around, which took away from the natural beauty of the area. It’s a shame because the location has so much potential.
