Everything was very clean and quiet and the location was perfect. The hostel is in front of the public bus stop to go to the pier and close to the walking street with restaurants and live music bars. The owner was very friendly and gave me some tips for my next destination

Spotlessly clean. Big room and everything you need for an extremely reasonably price. Although a bit further away than other hotels from the walking street and the restaurant/bar scene in that area it’s not that far (especially if you have a scooter) and it conveniently has a 7-Eleven and a Lotus’s right next to it.

The hotel is easy to reach by car, adequate free parking available near the premises. The rooms were well maintained, very spacious bedrooms and bathrooms with multiple electrical sockets, and hangers. Wifi worked perfectly well, they have a nice area/Cafe for breakfast and snacks, along with a big and modern expresso machine. The breakfast menu contained quite a few different dishes (all included in the room price) and the price was very competitive considering the standard of this small hotel Staff are very friendly, can communicate well in English and are very helpful The place is very clean. The only area for improvement, especially if guests have luggage is that there is no elevator to go up to the rooms.

    Very pleasant medium sized town.

    Very pleasant medium sized town. Lively market main road with many restaurants and music. Very nice surroundings with waterfalls, hot water springs and spas. Ideally you'll need a car or at least a bicycle to explore it all. No beaches in Ranong, take a boat to nearby islands.

    They have provided us with the room next to the car park lot...

    They have provided us with the room next to the car park lot in second floor which is very convenient for us. The room is clean and well organize. It is just nice for one night stay and location is located to nearby eatries outlet make it convenient for us to go out to have our dinner. The staffs is friendly but one set back is that teh hotel does not have a lift to go to the second and third floor. Parking lot is available upon our arrival.

    This made for an interesting short stay.

    This made for an interesting short stay. Ranong is not the most exciting of towns, but there was more than enough to see and do on our two days. We were there for Chinese new year and very much enjoyed the large fair in the main street - very much a local affair, lots of families and only a handful of tourists. The Rattana Rangsarn Palace was surprisingly interesting - well displayed information about the visit of the King Rama V, including extracts from a contemporaneous account of his visit. The hot springs on the outskirts of town also merit a visit - boy, is the water hot! The fishing port is absolutely vast and teeming with activity, but this is a proper industrial area, so none of the shoreside seafood restaurants which we were expecting to find. The fishing port section of town sits on the delta of a river, so the shore is muddy and not sandy as you might find slightly lower down the coast. The town is really big - a lot bigger than we expected - so we were glad we had the car to be able to get around. If you happened to be in this part of Thailand, I'd say that you could spend a couple of interesting days here, but it's not a town which is worth going out of your way to visit.

    Ranong has much to offer, three hot springs in the area you...

    Ranong has much to offer, three hot springs in the area you can access by renting a motorbike, or renting a car, or hiring a car or see-lor (truck) with driver. Two of the hot springs are relatively close proximity to Ranong Town. The weekend street market, closed to vehicle traffic, is charming, with tradition old style ways of cooking desserts and savory dishes. Along with this plethora of different types of street food, are local street buskers, who know and play their music well. What is especially touching and memorable about Ranong, are how open and caring the locals are. We have visited three times, and are looking forward to our next return.

    Very comfortable and surprising find in the Ranong area. Ideal location for visiting the attractions in Ban Ngao area and not far to Ranong town. The couple running it have a designer's sensibility and eclectic taste, sometimes a little bizarre, but always interesting. The room was a good size, well furnished, clean and with full amenities. The restaurant is also pretty good, though not particularly cheap. Excellent breakfast included in our package. Friendly and helpful management.

    Just a one night stay on the way back from the south of Thailand.In the middle of Rayong but easy to find.Room was ok and a great little restaurant down stairs although the only offering was a full breakfast which we didnt want apart from a couple of coffees which we couldnt have so we left.Pleasantly surprised with the hotel though...better than expected.

    Tobedzz is a modern, clean and quiet hotel close to the bus station, which is convenient when you need a good nights sleep after a long bus ride. There is some nice thai restaurants in the area. The Raksawat Hot Springs are in a walking distance and a must see if you have time in Ranong.
