I really fell in love with Kas, it is a small city… but worth staying over for a few days. We stayed for 3 days (2 nights) but with all honesty, for me that was too short. If you really desire a trip where you can take tea/coffee breaks and just enjoy the moment, book an extra day or two. I really do recommend a boat trip to the kekova islands. I loved the swims and just the relaxation of the boat journey (8 hours). Emre restaurant is a great place for home cooked food. Delicious food and friendly staff.ArzuBelgium - Scored 1010

Kaş is on a hill running down to the Turquoise Coast of southwestern Turkey. Around 30 minutes by ferry boat from Kaş is the Greek island of Kastelórizo served by a Turkish/Greek ferry daily with the option of same day returns. The sea is very beatiful and some beaches such as Kaputaş and Patara should be seen.

Kas is a favorite place in Turkey. I visited there 6 times in a year. A small paradise, calm town for an ideal holiday. Many beaches, convenient location from other cities and beautiful views. Having visited Kas once, it is impossible not to fall in love with this place. Everyone should definitely see this place at least once.

Lovely locals feeling town. Tourists welcomed but the village did not seem overally commercialised. Lots of amazing food resteraunts. Snorkelling was great but beware no sandy beaches within walking distace!

Kas is a small town with a great mix Turkish and foreign visitors. Its a 2.5 hour trip from the main airport in Dalaman on relatively easy roads. Numerous restaurants cater for all needs and budgets. Many hotels are close enough to the town centre to easily walk in and back. Kas is a tourist destination so some prices do reflect that business, however the exchange rate is favourable to the overseas visitor which means that meals can still be bought cheaper than eating out at home.

Kas is a jewel of a place and we have visited many times. Returning again and again to enjoy its relaxing atmosphere, traditional qualities, excellent food ,lovely people and views to die for this time we were disappointed. It has become much much busier and the average age of the visitor has changed and it now attracts a much younger clientele. This unfortunately has lead to it becoming much noisier and the places we have always enjoyed visiting now have loud music blaring out all day and night totally ruining the tranquility and relaxation we go there for. This beautiful jewel of the turquoise coast has been tarnished and probably changed forever. It is unlikely that we will return.

The breakfast is the best we’ve had in Turkey (we’ve been here for 3 weeks…) - everything was so fresh and there were different hot items everyday.
