The front desk staff were very professional. We asked about arranging a taxi the day before departure, and everything was prepared exactly as requested on the morning we left. The room was spacious, very clean, and featured wooden flooring with plenty of power outlets. Most of the outlets are two-pin, so be sure to bring an adapter if needed. We arrived late at night and found limited food options nearby, but there is a 7-Eleven about a 5-minute walk away, which was convenient.

The staff tried to help and breakfast was a buffet.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, and my family of 5 fit nicely. The location was also good - it was walkable to a lot of restaurants. The free breakfast also had a nice selection of items.

Location, breakfast, friendly and well trained staff

Location was decent, there were shops and a shopping complex with restaurants a bit down the road as well as convenience store across the road. Rooms had everything we need for a stay and breakfast buffet was great and convenient. Bed was nice and firm, we had great sleep that night

Spacious and clean, perfect location! Parking instructions were quite confusing, but in the end the hotel covered the full amount, which was nice.

Relatively easy to get to. From Taipei, we took HSR to Chiayi, upon arrival we learned that HSR offered a FREE shuttle in to town called THSR/BRT bus. Just show your HSR ticket and get on the bus. Show the driver that you will stay at VOCO and he drops you off at a bus stop near the front. Hotel offered 3 restaurants but needed reservations. 7-eleven and PX mart are only a couple blocks away so we were able to make a meal of it.

Prince Hotel is the perfect location if you want to go to Chiayi City. It is located near the train and bus stations. It is also surrounded by the best restaurants and milk tea at a very affordable price. One thing good at Prince Hotel is that they are located near the Wenhua night market.

- Great reception staff - Laundry and drying machine with free detergent - Parking space for bicycles - Amazing free breakfast - Clean, spacious room and bathroom (with Japanese toilets) - Relaxing music in the corridors - Big windows to look outside

Next to train station. This neighborhood used to be rampant in pornography. So I was worried. But Crown Hotel is a family hotel. Their buffet breakfast is Excellent.

Exceptionally well located, friendly staff, very clean and with a certain grandeur. Price/value is amazing!

Everything, it was perfect! Friendly staff, beautiful room, perfect location. Was allowed to take my bicycle into the room which I appreciate a lot (safest place).

Good size room. Tasty hot breakfast baffet.

The staff were very helpful. When I had a problem with my room. They were quick to resolve it and switch me to a different room.

Nice to have had paper towels in the kitchen, and dishwashing detergent. Also nice that tea bags were provided at the front lobby. Nice to have reception staff for check in/out and answer any questions.

very clean & spacious room, comfortable bed

Was located near the station but not much else in the neighbourhood. Room was large with a nice bathroom. Large breakfast buffet.

I love the ambiance of the lobby and the room. The big room is modern and facilities function well.

The room was clean and a good size. The location was close to all the things we wanted to see. It was also very close to the bus/train station which is good if you are visiting Alishan Mountain.

The hotel was in a pretty good location walking distance to the Night Market and the famous Turkey rice restaurant. Also plenty of other restaurants around. Ten minutes walk from local train station and bus stop nearby. The staff were very accommodating and attentive always willing to find a solution to any problems. The man in eye glasses could speak and understand a good amount of English which was very helpful. Good wifi connection in the room.

I’m not quite sure why this hotel has such a low rating, but our experience was wonderful! The place was really nice, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Their complimentary breakfast officially starts at 6:30 AM, but when they saw us leaving at around 5:00 AM, they kindly invited us to eat breakfast before heading out. That thoughtful gesture really made our stay special. I would definitely recommend this place to budget travelers. It’s affordable, the service is superb, and it’s absolutely worth the price!
